The Clifton 9 is a fantastic shoe that is comfortable for me right outside of the box. No break-in required. I am wogger most days and find this to be the best for me in comfort, support, and the light feeling that I like for walking, jogging, and light runs.

I have alot of problems with both my feet. 3 surgery's on one .my dr recommended i try these . I still have to put orthotics in them but they have helped alot! My niece who also has alot of foot problems wears them to, and said they have helped her. I tell everyone to at least give them a try, you never know they might help you too!!

The coloring makes the main part of the shoe look dirty. Fits perfectly.

Cushiest Hoka yet! I've gone through several pair of Hokas, and these are the best so far! I can really feel the difference on these. Feel like I'm walking on clouds! Don't need to try any other styles! This one is the best!

Very cute and comfortable. Runs a tiny bit bigger than my Arahi 7s, but I have a narrow foot. I wear these as a medical student who is on her feet a lot and they keep my feet and lower back from hurting!

This is my second pair of Clifton's I had to buy a second one because part the sole of the first pair came loose. (I haven't heard back to see if I will compensated for the loose sole.) I like the shoe very much it is supportive comfortable. I walk 3 plus miles daily and want that support. Plus I love the colors.

Fits really well and comfortable

I ordered the Clifton 9 instead of the Bondi 9 thinking they were similar enough after I had tried the Bondi's in store. The cushioning was not enough for what I wanted and the midsole too narrow for my feet. I should have known they weren't going to be similar enough but thought I'd give them a try since they are less expensive and many people like the Clifton's. I could likely walk in them but not put in the longer running miles, which is what I wanted them for. I exchanged for the Bondi 9 and hope they'll be the ones!

Love the spring colors and support

They're not as cushy as I like for walking or jogging and so for that reason, I would send them back, but I love the style and color. I just wish they were a little more cushy.

Finally I get a pair for myself! I have bought two pairs for my husband. He loves his so much too.

There is nothing bad about the Clifton 9. They are full of cushion, comfortable, good fit and stable. I do a lot of standing and moving around. This comfort and stability is just right. I wish I had found these shoes years ago. I also have a pair of Bondi 8 and they are pure comfort, balance and stability.

Hoka was my saving grace. Starting with the Mach 4 and getting g me back to pain free walking, but you keep adding height to the sole material, and now, I can't wear them. The Mach 6 was a bust. I ordered Clifton's a few yrs ago, and they were good. Just got my Clifton 9's and will be returning. Tried them on and because of the height of the sole, my foot is not stable and wobbles somewhat. I have now ordered the Solimar and hoping I can wear or I will have to start shopping another brand.

I wear these for work and they're so comfy on my feet. Only thing is I wish I got a wife because these are too narrow on the sides of my feet so they hurt in that area. I thought maybe they just needed to be broken in but I would get a wide next time. They're narrow on the sides of the toes.

Very comfy,true to size

Purchased the Clifton 9 in June of 2024. By November, the treads on the sole began coming apart. I submitted a claim to the warranty department, which was initially denied. After contacting Hoka via Facebook, I was sent a replacement pair. I am very satisfied!

The outsole started falling off on one shoe within 6 months as other reviews have mentioned. I glued them back on and then the other shoe did it. I noticed in another review Hoka responded and said the warranty would cover that within a year. I submitted a warranty claim and sent them to Hoka. I received them back today denying the warranty claim because the brand warranty is expired. I purchased on 6/24/2024. So buyer be ware. I have only had them 6 months and do not recommended purchasing the Clifton 9s. I purchased at least 6 pairs of other Hokas and never had this problem with the others.

Great shoes!! Would buy again

I'm a very busy X-Ray Technologist and these may be the most comfortable shoe I've bought yet! No need to "break" them in. They were super comfortable straight out of the box.

I've had 3 pairs of the clifton 9 and have loved them!!! Hoka please don't change things on the next clifton. Also, I would appreciate it if you would make more colors for the 'wide' option. Overall, very happy.

Unfortunately and very disappointed first purchased last January 29 I've bought n returned 3 items Clifton 9 and until now I didn't get refund . I returned bc the color I'm expecting is different . I purchased 2 item and received it .

I had to return them. I was very disappointed in the quality compared to my other pair.

Cliftons always fit right out of the box. Comfy walking shoe.
