I recently purchased a size 7W in black to try a different style and also because of the sale. They were long enough but very narrow for a wide. I normally wear Gavoita 7W which fit comfortably. This wide is not wide unless this pair was labeled wrong.

The seam that sits directly on top of the bend of your toes is way too tight - the shoes felt great at first but after walking 30k+ steps a day during my trip, by day 3 my foot were a bit more swollen than usual and no matter how hard I tried to loosen that seam, it was so tight on my toes. The shoes were even size up half a size just in case my feet got swelled up.
My toes started to feel super tingly and numb towards the end of the day so I had to buy a random pair of shoes in an area that didn't have clothing/shoes stores present just to feel some relief. Ever since that trip (12 months) I've had nerve pains all throughout my toes and legs.

I was really excited to try these Hoka shoes because they felt great at first lightweight, cushioned, and very comfortable. Unfortunately, after just about a month, the left shoe started pulling my sock down every time I walked or ran, which caused a painful blister on my heel. I later noticed a big hole forming in the back of the left shoe where the fabric had worn out.
For the price, I expected them to last much longer. It's disappointing because the comfort was great initially, but the quality didn't hold up.

The sneaker has excellent support and a cushiony feel. During my first wear, I experienced bunion pain. I would not recommend it if you have bunions.

First pair of Hoka shoes I've owned and they fit well and are comfortable. They did require a two to three day "break in period". Only gave them 4 stars because the color was described as Granite, but are really purple. Also I do love the stretch laces closure.

I bought these shoes in February and have been wearing them to work everyday since. I walk at least 20,000 steps a day and most of the time near 30,000. These shoes gave me back pain, knee pain and hip pain that I found unexplainable around month 6. A friend suggested it might be my shoes so swapped back to a different pair of hokas that were gifted to me and the pain went completely away after the first wear

I always wear a size 6B in Hokas & I have at least 8 pairs. These were shockingly tight. I don't get it. And since they only have 6 wide in larger sizes, I am returning them. I'll stick with Challenger ATR's, Cliftons & Speedgoats. I bought these Transports because they were on sale & I was looking for a low top walking shoe. Really disappointed.

I was not happy with how they felt on my feet. I went for a 2 mile walk and I couldn't wait to get home to take them off because my feet hurt so bad and my pinky toe.

I have many HOKA's. They have never disappointed me. However, this pair was very disappointing. What attracted me was the look, the reflectors, color and style. After trying them on. They were very uniform fitting to my foot. Thinking I would need to break them in only made it worse causing blisters. Do not recommend.

I've always ordered Hoka's for the wide toe box. Have had foot surgeries and need the extra room. These were so tight I could not get my foot into the shoe.

Great cream color that goes with almost anything. However, they are stiff and too narrow and have caused my plantar fasciitis to flare up. This was very surprising and disappointing since I buy Hokas because other Hoka have been my best choice for my foot pain. I can't wear these, unfortunately.

I've been wearing them for a couple weeks now, since wearing them my heels and feet hurt, not as comfortable as I thought they would be. I liked the style and the look but not happy with the comfort.

I have been buying Hoka for years due to 5-ft surgeries and plantar fasciitis. Sometimes it's frustrating to only be able to wear sneakers, so I was really hoping this shoe would look more like a leather shoe. It does not, it has no arch support at all and has a strange wrinkle in the fabric upper right behind the inside ball of your foot because there is no arch support to take the slack out of the fabric. The shoe sole also curves up in the front which isn't really noticeable in the pictures. It was just not at all the usual Hoka quality shoe that I get. I'm definitely returning it, I did order a half size larger and that was appropriate. I hope they continue to work on this shoe. The idea was great. The execution not so much

I live my life wearing Hokas. I wear them for everyday wear. I have bilateral arthritis in my knees, plantar fasciitis and bulging discs in my back so I need them for support and comfort. I noticed that wearing Hokas has helped tremendously with my back and foot pain. I bought the Transports specifically for walking as they came up in my search as walking shoes. I anticipated that they'd be soft and cloud-like, like my Bondi 7s but they're are not. They're firm and not really that comfortable. They're true to size. I really like the way they look and was excited to add them to my comfort shoe lineup but they don't do it for me.

I like the look and feel of the Transports, but the clicking sound from left shoe continues to bother me. Not sure I would buy these again. Decided not to return, so living with the "click" but not liking it.

Shoe insert is thin and has no support. The shoe strings cut into top of my foot because the tongues are so thin. The gusset that is sewn on to them pulls the tongue tighter. Very uncomfortable shoe and if I had not cut the gusset ( which by the way helped somewhat) I would surely send these back to where they came from.
I'd also recommend:
No idea. Was told these were the best

The heel is too hard or something... doesn't fit well. Normally all the HOKA's are great.

I couldn't even get these all the way on, the heel was so stiff and tight. I have other (older) Hokas and they aren't like this.

Conveniently, about 3 months after purchase, the lace keeper tore on one side (on one shoe). Seems it wasn't sewn very well. The shoes get worn very little - about once every 2 weeks so it wasn't excessive wear. Just poor workmanship. I buy a lot of Hoka shoes but will not buy these again.

I loved these snickers when I saw them! But a year later, after having only wear them 4 times, they discolored. The white parts turned pink and it doesn't look cute. Since it was after the year warranty, customer service couldn't do anything. The shoe is very comfortable and cute, I just hate that this happened so if you're considering buying, just have that in mind because I didn't know.

I've been buying Hoka speed goats for several years in 7 wide. When the speed goat 6 came out, the 7 wide was a lot narrower that the 5's. Had to size up to 7.5 wide, slips off the heel a little but doable. I need room in the toe box and these shoes were the most comfortable I've ever worn. However, they didn't last too long as a lot of my walking/hiking is on pavement. Went to road runner sports, tried the 7 wide cliftons, too tight. Tried the 7.5, wide, still snug. Decided to order the transports online. 7.5 wide. narrower than the cliftons or speed goats. I don't know if Hoka is having their shoes made somewhere else the last couple of years where they have super narrow feet and a wide to them is just regular width? Super disappointed and will now have to look for my new favorite wide width brand.

I've purchased many different name brands of tennies over the years. Always in search of a box fit that would not irritate the throbbing corn on my pinkie toe.
My first Hoka purchase were the Challenger 7. These were very comfortable for walks and the wide width is great! I then purchased a pair of the Gaviota 5. These are AMAZING I must say. I wore them so much I wanted to try a more casual looking shoe not an athletic shoe.
I really liked the style of the Transport and ordered them in a 9 wide. They were delivered yesterday and I wore them out last night and uh, super disappointed. Well, I'll start with the positives. They are stable enough for long walks, the toggle laces are easy to adjust, and I really appreciated the sustainability of the resources used in making these shoes.
Now the negative. The shoe box is not wide as promised. I broke my right ankle years ago and that foot has become wider over the years. As a result, I've developed this corn on my pinkie toe that is extremely sensitive. Once I put the shoes on last night, I just knew maybe these aren't going to work after all. But I figured both other styles of my Hokas are great. Well, by the end of the night, my corn was sending it's angry pulses when my shoes are too tight. I'm super bummed out. Nice try though....
