Could not wear them due to the tightness across the top of the shoe which is not the shoes fault but my foot fault

These are a replacement for another Hola Transport that I returned because they squeaked right out of the box. Hola said they may be damp inside and to sprinkle baby powder in them. I don't see how they could be damp when I'd never worn them so I returned them. Sure enough these squeak too. I love the look and comfort of these shoes that I wear to work as a teacher. Hoka, please fix this. It's unique to this shoe!

My husband loves his Hokas, but they definitely aren't for me. I made the mistake of purchasing these for a trip where I would be walking extensively with a likelihood of rain and not testing them out before leaving. First the good. They are good looking shoes and went with most of my outfits. They provided good water resistance during several rainstorms. They seem very well made. The bad is the design. The rocker design, where the bulk of the strike hits at the arch was not for me and does not seem to make sense. Our feet were designed to strike on the heel and ball of the foot, not the arch. I had no shoe alternatives and walked 5-10 miles in city walking daily for over a week. By the end of the trip, I had developed a heel spur, my knee was wonked and my hip was offset. I've been home for over two weeks and still have horrible hip pain and a limp, which i did not have at all before the trip. My heel feels like i've developed a spur as well. If your feet like Hokas, I recommend these shoes. If you haven't tried Hokas, be sure to test them out around the house before committing to them. My only complaint is the design, not the quality. Size was spot on. I usually have to size up 1/2 size in athletic shoes, but these fit at my normal shoe size. I need a wide toe box and these shoes worked in that department.

I've bought these shoes several times, hoping to break them in because I believe they have the potential to be great. The positives: they are visually appealing, unique compared to other Hoka shoes, and come with convenient laces. However, the negatives include a narrow toe box and a flatter sole than usual. The downside? I've developed painful blisters on my toes that I simply can't overlook. Regrettably, I have to return them. If you were to expand your range to include wider options and add a bit more cushioning to the sole, I would gladly buy them again without hesitation.

I really liked the look of the shoe so naturally I really wanted to like them. I also wanted to see what all the hype was over hokas. They just aren't for me. I work 12 hour shifts as a nurse and my feet usually start to hurt by hour 4 or 5. I'm going to stick it out with some inserts for now, but would not buy again. Tried some other hokas on in the store and was also unimpressed

I first purchased my regular size 6.5 but my feet were sliding around too much no matter how thick a sock I wore. Returned those for a size 6 and these are simply too small. Much tighter in all areas, especially at the toe box where I need room due to previous surgery. Will have to return these unfortunately. I really wish HOKA would bring back a White shoe in the Rincon for women! Nothing fits quite as well on my foot.

I own at least 5 pairs of HOKA all of them except one pair are Challengers, when I saw the GTX the style caught my eye. I wore them to work because I walk around the facility a lot that's why I invest in buying HOKA shoes but these cause knee and foot pain. I have also purchased a different style for my daughter. There is something missing in the GTX, I wish I would have just bought regular Challengers.

I have owned 6 pair of Hokas, mostly Challengers and my husband has had the same. This pair felt small and after wearing they hurt my feet. Stopped wearing socks to make more room. This is just my experience. This shoe doesn't compare to the comfort of the challenger. I bought this pair to have a different look and not worrying with shoelaces. Also after a month, the stretchy strap that holds your lace down, it almost completely off.

I wanted this to work out so bad since the fit and weight was perfect for work. However, I do not want to be that one nurse that wakes up her patients because of the squeaking that comes with every single step. This definitely is reminiscent of those toddler squeaky shoes. Hoka, please fix this problem!

I got these shoes to alleviate heel pain. They feel fine for a few hours but after a while they make my feet tired.

I am not a runner; I am 75 yrs old and bought these shoes because they are pretty and not the usual garish Hoka. I have two pairs of the Bondi style that are super comfortable, good colors, but I didn't like the new color combinations. These shoes are very stiff overall and the tongues are particularly difficult to pull out and straighten. I only hope that problem improves over time. For that, I give the average rating.

This shoe looks great but the fabric does not stretch like other HOKAs making it very uncomfortable for my bunions. I used a stretcher to stretch it out to the max, but still not wide enough for my feet. Wish they would use the regular fabirc

Too much arch support? They just don't feel good. Wish I had returned them before I tried to wear them in. Most likely won't try Hoka again.

I have a wider foot and these Hoka shoes fit very comfortably but regrettably were rather stodgy in appearance. After some debate, I returned them in favor of a shoe that provided both comfortable and visual appeal.

I loved that it was a bit more weather-resistant than other shoes (like the Clifton). I wore it for a week incl. during a 13-hr shift on my feet the entire day and my lower back did not hurt for the first time in a while. Unfortunately, the right side of my right foot hurt just a few hours in (my right foot is wider than my left foot but I've never had to wear 'wide' sized shoes). I usually wear 6.5 but size up to 7/7.5 for width/comfort and wear a size 7.5 in Nike (known to be narrow) and don't have a problem with the width of my AirMax270s (also notoriously narrow for a narrow brand) so I was really disappointed when I tried the Transport a few more times and experienced the pain on my right foot due to the width again. Ultimately returning it after a week trial to try another style and noticed that the scuffing on the beautiful Eggnog color was also an issue.

I own multiple Hokas and came looking for a neutral pair that could be worn for big city travel. These looked good, but when they arrived, they were incredibly noisy, with the Vibram sole putting up a huge squeak with every step. Also the styling felt a bit geitric to me on the foot. I returned them.

The shoe was a bit snug. I didn't return it but was disappointed it wasn't true to size. I'm still wearing with the hood it will eventually stretch .

MY PODIATRIST RECOMMENDED HOKA TO HELP ME WITH SOME ISSUES. However, my foot seems to be too narrow for them. I tried 2 different styles, and one I returned immediately. The other I thought I could work with, but after 1 day of walking, I was developing more problems as the front of my foot was moving around too much, and I was compensating because of that. The shoes are beautiful and well made, and I've already recommended them to my daughter-in-law as her feet are short but wide with a high in-step. I wish she was my size as I would have given her my pair.

I love Hokas and wanted these shoes for more of a day to day walking shoe that is a little less chunky looking than typical Hokas. Two things contributed to my decision to return them: first, the toe box seemed a bit more constricted than a new pair of Clifton 9s delivered in the same order; second, the soles squeaked so bad on my floors! I just couldn't keep a pair of shoes on the off chance that they would squeak less over time.

The toe box is so small, which felt really strange coming from HOKA. I was so disappointed to have to return them, they're really so pretty, but I can't. The inserts are super thin, it's just not the right shoe.

I have been wearing Hoka's for years so I have many old pairs. The new ones I purchased are not nearly as supportive as my old one. The density of the outsole feels different and not better. They look good and are ok for short distances but have to wear my old ones for work etc. I'm a physical therapist, foot/ ankle specialist. Hope this isn't the case for all styles of Hoka's.
