I wanted to love these slip on shoes. I usually love all of the Hokas I get but, unfortunately, wide that I am accustomed to from Hoka, wasn't the case with this shoe. It was way too narrow across the toes which is causing me to return these. After losing toes after an extensive illness, I have had the best luck with Hoka shoes. I can't wear house shoes around my house because I have to have more support. I was very hopeful that this particular shoe would work for me as a house shoe. Hopefully this will get fixed soon. Also,it would be great if you offered a wider selection of shoes in wide sizes. Usually if I find a new style in my size and wide, I snatch them up as soon as I can. I would really appreciate you considering this.

These new hooks were not as cushiony as my first pair which makes the less comfortable. I like the color but not the comfort

They are everyday shoes. They are the least comfortable HOKAs I have purchased.

Not as comfy as I expected. They are quite firm, with very little cushion.

TLDR: This is a weird shoe. It has the sole for hiking, the lacing for a quick trip to the grocery store, and enough ceiling room in the toe box to hang a chandelier. I bought this shoe to replace my Torrent 2s that I loved. I did not however love the latest iterations of Torrent so I had to try something else. I tried several other styles before I landed on Transport (really as a last resort).
Pros: I like the upper fabric. I love the Vibram sole. I like the simple design (no silly graphics and crappy colors like the new Torrents).
Cons: The shoe is the correct length but it is so bulky around the toe box area. Just so much vertical space above my toes. The heel is so difficult to lock down. Forget hiking in these with the quick laces - my foot would never stay in the shoe. Using the 2nd set of laces they provided, I was barely able to get my heel locked down using the loops because the laces are so short. And round laces don't stay tied well. The tongue doesn't stay in place - perhaps because I have a high arch so it scrunches down a bit as I walk.

I had a huge crush on these and ordered 2 pairs- even sized up and ordered wide but unfortunately it fits rather uncomfortably snug/tight compared to my other "wide" hoka shoes due to the garter-like material holding the tongue. I've thought about snipping them off but hey for the price ...I'd rather just get another Bondi.

I like the shoes, was disappointed that the color was not this deep in real life. It is a much lighter purple color than shown.

These arrived quickly and were a good fit, but they are not slip ons or hands free, as the tongue slides back when I put them on. I'm having knee surgery soon so I need a truly hands free shoe.

I bought these shoes for a trip to Tennessee. We walked around Nashville, Pigeon Forge, the Great Smokey Mountains, and Knoxville. I used them for walking and light hiking. They were really tight on the top of my feet. After a while they would be too painful to wear. I am nervous about wear them again but I may need to break them in. I tried to adjust the laces but they were always too tight. I wore running socks with them and still had issues.

Really cute style. I wanted a traveling shoe and was certain this would be great for comfort and sport. After wearing them around the house for a few days I realized they didn’t meet either expectations. Very pricey without delivering.

I bought two pairs of Transports July 2025. They were black and beautiful. They are true to size and easy to put on. However, these shoes comfort doesn't last. I stopped wearing them because they hurt my feet walking and standing as of September 2025, I no longer wear them due discomfort and pain on my feet. In our experience, these shoes aren't made to be worn daily and for walking or long standing. Long periods of time I wouldn't buy them again and their cost is high.

I am currently in my second trimester and was told I needed more supportive footwear as my feet are flattening. That all being said, I still fit into all of my other shoes so I didn't stray to a larger size or wider width. With these shoes, I wish I had. My toes feel very compressed, however the look of these shoes is versatile and neutral. I would definitely purchase a wider size and half size up if I were to get these again.

They are cute, clean up well, but don't have as much cushions as the other Hokas I have bought. Not the shoes fault but just be aware

I have wide feet, and I wear Clifton10s in wide very comfortably. By comparison, the Transport in wide felt very narrow, and the low heel hit in an uncomfortable spot on my heel. Back to the Cliftons for me.

Three stars because I have to return these. Should have paid more attention to the reviews. 168 poeple said the shoe runs narrow. I ordered an 8 regular -- my normal size in other Hoka modelsm although my feet are slightly wide. This style was too tight for me and pressed painfully on a bunion. I've never had that problem in a Hoka, I own two pairs (in regular width) that were comfy right out of the box. This shoe rubbed against the back of my heel, too, even though the length was perfect, so it's not a function of being too short. I'm going to exchange for wides, and hope for the best. They are much lighter than my other Hokas (less padded? we'll see). I wanted them for everyday use and they seem designed for a college teacher like me who has to walk some distance across the campus every day. I'll review again once I get the wides. A note on this color -- I ordered "smoky quartz". It's lighter than pictured. I was expecting a deeper shade verging toward burgundy but it's more mushroom, with a silky finish. Very pretty, actually -- a useful neutral.

I was hoping these would work as a good daily walking around shoe since they aren't quite as chunky as the Clifton 9's I use in the gym. After putting them on the first time I immediately felt a lot of pain in my ankle and an old injury in my hip that rarely bothers me anymore. I was hoping it would go away after a bit and that it might just be retraining my joints with shoes that had better support, but after a little over a week I had to admit defeat. I stopped wearing them and the pain disappeared. The shoes were a bit stiffer than I often wear, so if you struggle with stiffer shoes, I'd try a different pair with more cushioning. If you do fine with stiff shoes, this one may be fine for you.

Apparently, for this style shoe, I require a X-wide width.
I ALSO thought the price was high.

Always HAD luck with Hoka but they keep changing their models and that changes the fit.

I purchased the eggnog and even sprayed them with the weatherproof type spray. My understanding was they were coated in something that helped prevent staining and was already weatherproofed. Well, first week I wore them to school and a student stepped on my shoe with his shoe and there's a scratch or discoloration on the eggnog that won't come out. I've tried everything and there is no shoe polish that matches the color exactly. These are also not as comfortable as I expected them to be compared to the Bondi or Clifton.

Even the wide is just too narrow. Seems like a good shoe but it gets HOT due to the material it's made of. Does not breathe well. Overall, this was just not the right walk8ng shoe for me. If you have a skinny foot these may work for you.
