I was really excited to grab my second pair of Hokas during Black Friday. My first pair has taken me through anything and everything for the past 5 years and the soles are still holding up really well, they just look a bit ratty now for the nicer casual occasions. For this pair, I wish I would've been able to compare the 9 to the 9.5 as I'm right around there depending on the shoe. I decided to go with the 9.5 / regular width, basic Transport. First off the quality of the shoes feels excellent. The Oak/Alabaster color is true to pictures and looks great (reg laces included are the shoes' body color). I like that the outside is solid (vs breathable mesh)- something I didn't really catch beforehand. I think my toe hits at the appropriate length, any more and I'd worry about it being too tight. The main question I have is in the heel area. Comparing my Hokas, the old pair's heel area has more of a curve - to cup your heel and keep it in place. That's what I was expecting. However, if you notice in the pictures, the heel area on these Hokas have more of a straight up and down build so there is some movement in my heel when moving. It's slight, but I am lowkey concerned it could shimmy socks down when walking. Could it be that it's due to buying 9.5 vs 9? Unfortunately i dont know. The last thing im unsure about is the quick adjust stretchy "laces". It's difficult to get targeted support since it will basically end up equalizing pressure everywhere when tightened. The toe box remains unaffected and roomy, and tightening only partially affects the heel security. I'm debating whether to remove the stretchy lace and do the regular laces, instead, but it appears there's no way to remove the stretchy band without actually cutting it since it's one continuous piece. Ultimately I will be keeping the shoes as I think I can get past these minor issues and make it work, after all, I won't be using them for any extreme activities.

I also have the Hoka Bondi 9's and the Transports are so much more comfortable hands down. I am post surgical x2 for a fractured foot and ankle so good shoes are a must as I transition back to floor nursing. I just wish the black/black came in a wide!

I was able to walk 10,000 steps with the shoes right out of the box...no break in period required! All of my knee and hip pain is gone after wearing these amazing shoes for less than a week....coincidence? I think NOT! These are simply the best athletic shoes that I have ever worn. AMAZING!!!!

I purchased both the 7.5 wide and the 8 wide. My true size is 7.5 wide in other brands. I really liked the style of the Transport; however Hoka does not seem to make their shoes wide enough. I am thinking of trying the Bondi or Clifton that comes in Extra Wide but I am not a fan of the style”shoe rock”. The Transport had minimal “rock” which I also liked. I had to return both pairs.

Love these with the exception of low arch support. Hoping some super feet inserts will fix that.

I purchased these shoes for a trip to Italy. Wanted a white pair of good walking shoes to wear with dresses. These were absolutely perfect, supportive, stylish and not one foot issue for my entire trip.

Comfortable shoe with less cushion than other Hokas. There is no arch support, which is why I am returning it.

These shoes are perfect for travel with the easy on and off! The water resistant factor is great for changing conditions, however, I do find these to be a bit too hot in the summer unless I wear footies vs socks. Taking one star away for heat. Would make it 4.5 stars if possible. The other thing that may be an issue for some is that these shoes may feel somewhat narrow to some. I have a regular foot but narrow heel, and I think they fit great for me. These shoes run my actual size and have not gotten smaller with the newer shoes. The cute look and basic colors make them go great with crop pants, leggings, and even casual dresses, skirts, or shorts. Very comfortable like all my Hokas!

Love this shoe except I think I should have purchased a wide. Tried them on but haven't to wear them. However, I do love the Transport. It's my second pair.

It took more time than my last pair to break them in. For some reason, there is something inside one shoe that is still irritating the middle of my big toe. I hate the shoe laces that come with the shoe. So I changed them. But I buy Hoka because they are softer on my poor neuroma that others. Aren't you glad that you ask. PS They send way too many emails and texts. So I unsubscribe and send the texts to junk

I have worn a 7.5 M in the Clifton models, this also fit perfectly in the same size. It comes with a toggle lace and also normal shoe laces as an option. It was a bit stiffer when compared to the Clifton and not as comfortable and cushioned when compared to Clifton.

These shoes are comfy, a little tight for me but I seem to have thick feet on the top and aftwr a bunion surgery less than 2 years ago my left foot is different so my left shoe is always tighter. I like the feel of Hokas, I just dislike how wide and bulky they look. These aren't bad at all, more streamlined. While I like the mesh of most of their styles, I needed a non mesh to be on my feet all day in the medical field. They don't stretch much though so while walking they are good (slightly tight) but at rest they feel more tight. I always put my own inserts in and that is what makes them tighter than if you use their insert, although for me it is not enough arch support. I really appreciate that Hoka has free shipping and returns (that goes with the price though right?) My body feels good walking in these. The wide of this style doesn't seem to be as wide as the 2 others I've tried, but it's enough.

Unfortunately I didn't get a good chance to fully wear/test my shoes due to my puppy deciding they were a chew toy. So they're definitely not puppy proof, lol! When I actually could wear them though they seemed comfy however they weren't well ventilated for hot weather (living in the Southwest). My feet felt so warm when I was walking around so that really sucked. Wonder if there is a pair that is good for walking in general and hiking that airs out pretty well?

They're beautiful and comfortable! But they got stained when I washed them! I've used different types of soap, and the stains still appear when they dry! Maybe it's because of the type! Any tips for washing them?

I love them, they're comfortable! But I washed them and it seems that the type of material makes them stain when they dry! I tried washing them with different soaps and the stain still appears when they dry! I've tried several ways to dry them! When I wash them, the stain disappears, but when they dry, it reappears! Is there any advice for washing them? Has this happened to anyone else?

I submitted a long review of the Transport yesterday, and forgot to add that I Love the elastic bungee lacing system. It’s as close to a slip on shoe as I will get, but it’s better because I can adjust it to my preference with just a tug. Slip ons don’t allow such a custom fit.

U purchased these slip on due to having hip surgery. But, I haven't been able to get them on by myself to wear. Hopefully, once I fully recover I will be enjoying these.

I am loving my Hokas! They are really helping my heel issues. I would have given a five but for the fact that they have already stretched out quite a bit. The shoes felt very snug at first but now , after only a month of wearing them, I have to cinch them in really tightly in order for them to fit.

I purchased these recently, and they look great. A little snug in the toe box compared to my others, but I haven't broken them in yet.
