i walk in them every single day. they will give me a lot of mileage, i am sure!

My husband wears a size 12, but it was not comfortable for him in the length. It felt too short. We exchanged for a 12.5 and it felt no different. We decided to just return, but intend to purchase a different style.

I am 75 years of age and wanted a pair of supportive and comfortable hiking shoes. This is one of the best pair I have ever owned. I should have probably purchased size 9.5 for wearing heavier socks in colder weather, but that is a minor issue. I am a big fan of Hoka after this purchase.

I run on streets and trails interchangeably, sometimes on the same run. The cushioning is as good as I have come to expect from a Hoka, and this is a big deal as I am a large and older runner. The traction is what really won me over! Sole is aggressive, and it appears to be holding up better than other runners I have owned. Will surely buy again!

Best shoes I've had on in a long time.Mainly use these for hiking and on days whe the grass is wet. Hiking in NC this weekend and they meet all the requirements.

I bought Hoka Challenger 7 GTX about 2 weeks back and it's my best fitting shoes ever. They are comfortable as I am breaking them in. I will try to update the review in few weeks about durability.

I was happy with the cushioning on the Bondi 7...it fit my orthotics great and gave my neuromas a rest for most of the day. I wanted a water resistant shoe and tried a Bondi Unisex but it was too narrow on me. One of the staff at Hoka suggested I try the Challenger 7GTX which is water resistant ...I order men's b/c the ladies are all to narrow anymore. She told me they didn't have as much cushioning but I tried them and I must say, by the time my orthotic is in the shoe it feels great. It doesn't have the same heal height but everything was wonderful. So now I have a rain/snow/sand solution to my Hokas. Thank you to Hoka for hiring sales people who really know their product lines and who I can understand!

I use it daily and to exercise. It is very comfortable and lightweight.

Keeps feet dry, but would appreciate a wide being available.

Was looking for cushion, and a solid feel. Really like these shoes.

Ordered a few pair I needed to return. Hoka works very well for my left arthritic foot and the supination my foot has when walking. The wide base rubber platform at the ball of the foot helps give my lateral side of my left foot a lot of support. The olthet shoes or style of Hoka was sent back. The Breeze had wrinkles in the nylon that wasn't pretty. The transport was too narrow. I can't remember the other one but it didn't fit right at all. These Challenger 7s are as great as my Clifton 8 are but it will do. I'm heading to Egypt and wanted to break them in. I since put in a foot support to help my high arch. I think I'm good to go . I leave tomorrow . I'll know more as this is the ONLY shoe except plantar fasciitis sandals. The Hoka recovery slip on that I have are too large to pack in a carry on.

These shoes have been very comfortable and are holding up well. I use them for work as an ER nurse and for exercise. Would definitely buy them again.

The Challenger GTX is a very highly cushioned and attractive trail shoe. They are as cushioned as my Bondis! "Plush" in Hokaspeak. They do run short and narrow. I have worn a 12 wide in Bondis for many years. I sized up to 13 in the Challenger and they fit well width and length wise. They are my new travel shoe because they cover walking, running, light hiking and are waterproof. Saves packing space!!

Great walking show, as well as extremely good looking and on trend! I'm always attracted to new styles and color ways and this shoe checked all the boxes! Clearly HOKA's message is being well received by athletes as well as style conscious consumers. Keep up your good work! Mission accomplished!

Hokas are great. I find these a bit narrow in the toe bed

Please make these in wide and/or extra wide. Want to be able to wear these and order a couple of pairs.

I wanted to get some better golf shoes (comfort) but needed a good bottom with grip and traction along with being waterproof. The Challenger GTX were just what I needed. I play and walk about 3-4 rounds per week, often in the morning when there is dew on the grass. These shoes are jcomfortable and keep my feet dry. Problem solved.

Hoka continues to be the most comfortable shoe on the market. These are great on and off road Wish there were more colors to choose feom

Absolutely love these shoes, most comfortable ever ! So light they're like walking on air. Just make sure to order 1/2 size larger than what their fit chart calculates as they fit snug. They stretch slightly after wearing a bit.

These shoes are incredibly comfortable while being waterproof. These are the first pair of HOKA shoes I have owned and I am extremely impressed. I have been searching for a while for a quality waterproof running/walking shoe. The HOKA Challenger 7 GTX is far and away the cream of the crop. I found that they fit true to size. I used the extra eyelets to ensure a snug fit in the heel.
