I've always heard great things about Hoka, but my pair tore after a little over a year of normal use. For the price, I expected much better quality. These shoes aren't cheap, and they didn't hold up the way a premium brand should. Disappointing overall. I'm switching to another brand next time.

Usually buy Clifton style. But spend a lot of time with untied shoes these solve that problem. Fit is good support as good as Clifton’s.

The laceless version in theory is a slip on shoe. However the tongue is not attached at the sides, and when you out your foot in the tongue bunches up and you have to pull it back out. The wide version of this is extremely tight. Its actually more narrow then the bondi 9 regular non-wide. Just a horrible shoe.

Order wide and they felt very tight. Not wide at all. Tried them on 15 minutes sitting down and feet were hurting for an 1hr.

Feels incredible and looks more conventional than most Hoka shoes. Great for my sporty weekend dad look.

I purchased a 9.5 Transport EE it feels too tight .. doesnt even feel like a regular 9.5. I think there's a design flaw! I don't like this shoe!

I'm a HOKA convert, and I currently own five pairs, with three of them Tranports which are the perfect balance of cushion and responsiveness for everyday activities. I have a navy blue pair for work, where I'm on my feet moderately but also sit a lot too. I try to get up and walk hourly and my 50 year old knees, ankles, and back thank me for getting rid of my fashionable loafers (Vans, Reebok, Docs) and wearing these now. The quick bungee lacing lets me tighten or loosen easily depending on my sock choices, but I do agree with other reviews saying they run a bit narrow, especially in the toe box. I did not go up a half size as everything else was snug and I prefer little to no movement of my foot in the shoe when walking. I have a pair of egg nog color for wearing out to soccer matches, shopping, and other long leisure days on my feet and my feet have never been happier. I have a pair of Speedgoats for trails/hikes and Challengers for dedicated long pavement walks/jogs. The Challengers are super plush for the pavement but I prefer the Transport for daily wear like urban explorations (perfect travel shoe since the bungee system means easy access on/off at TSA. Also can use them for a hotel treadmill workout too without having to pack additional shoes. Snagged a eucalyptus pair now during the sale. I hope they keep this model line going. Seems durable too and the Vibram soles mean long lasting wear. I'm a fan!!!

Love these shoes. My first time with the cloud type shoes, so it took a bit to get used to them. But wow.

The shoe fits great and is comfortable, but part of the upper fell off after about a weeks use in an office environment. The returns process is a nightmare and it is clear they want to make it difficult enough that you just give out. Multiple stages, at least 3 forms, photos of every angle of the shoe, codes from the tag, a wait to find if you're approved, and then you get a return label and ship it back and finally after it ships back and they process you get a website credit, at that point probably 2 to 3 months later. Bottom line is the shoe fell apart after a week of office use, just send me a new pair. It's a shame because my Cliftons are my new favorite running shoe, but I can't purchase from a comoany that makes it this complex to return defective goods.

I ordered a Hoke Transport size 10.5 M. The shoe I received was a Hoka Transport marked as a 10.5 M, but in actually was very small. More like a 9 if that. I could not even get my foot into the new shoe. Returning.

I'm sure this doesn't apply to all their shoes however I'm reviewing my experience. The fit was okay. The uncontrollable squeak that alerts everyone 8n the office that I'm coming is a feature I can do without. I would expect this from an inexpensive sneaker. If you are going to charge a premium for your shoes, ensure your quality control is on par. Unfortunately, I didn't start using these shoes until after the return date so I'm stuck with "squish, squish, squish!"

I can’t really review these shoes as far as any fit is concerned because they were so tight I couldn’t even get my foot into them… I normally take a woman’s HOKA 9.5 W women’s shoe, but because other viewers had pointed out that they were somewhat narrow, I decided to order a men’s wide to compensate. I really did try to get my foot into them but I couldn’t. I guess is this is the walking shoe for people with narrow feet, and it’s a real shame because it has such potential to be a great walking shoe for everyone… Hoka please offer a walking shoe for those of us with wide feet.

Got these shoes because I liked the color/style and the apparent practicality of the shoe. I got standard sizing, since I don't usually buy wide shoes. I'd say the standard size is made for narrow or low-volume feet, so the wide sizing is probably more appropriate for standard feet. I'm not sure if people with actual wide feet can feel comfortable in this shoe. I think the shoe suffers from low volume mostly, because if I remove the insole then it actually ends up feeling much more comfortable. In my case, they don't have the color I like in Wide sizing, so I ended up finding some very thin insoles and that has helped the sizing issue.
