Literally zero break in period, size is true to fit, currently took a trip to New York City, and was looking for a good pair of walking shoes/hiking shoes, and these are it, the only reason why I gave it a four star and not a five is because the picture of the shoe does not Correctly reflect the true color of the shoe. In the picture, it precisely shows two different tones of color but in person. The colors are very similar just a different feel of the fabric on the top and side. Overall, I totally love the shoe, and I highly recommend it if you're looking for a good pair of walking shoes that has some style to it.

Sent mine back. This shoe would be perfect if it had as much arch support as Cliftons do. I recommend it to people who do not need much or any arch support. Feels very flat.

I like the shoes a lot, not sure they are the "end all be all" that I hoped they would be.

Yeah I use these daily as basic everyday shoes, I walk a lot. They are very comfortable, the self lacing system seems solid, not too tight, and not loose. Sturdy and solid, also easy to clean if you need.

This is my first HOKA shoe outside of the Clifton line-up so I am mostly comparing the sizing/fit to those. At first try, the shoe is easy to put on and lace. I opted to keep the quick-cinch laces and love them. The mid foot region and toe-box is quite narrow compared to my Cliftons of the same shoe size. Hopefully they stretch some (2.5 weeks in, still tight but loosening some). I mainly got these since they are water-resistant. My walking commute to the hospital can be ugly depending on the weather and I never know what type of fluid might drop on my shoes in the hospital. The shoe is firm, but comfortable with all day use. I am on my feet all day and have not had issues with foot pain as some other reviewers say. The shoes are quick and responsive. The grip is ideal in the hospital. However, since they are water-resistant, my feet get quite hot and sweat to the point that the insole develops a very loud squeak with each step towards the end of each day. This only occurs after several hours of wearing them but is quite annoying almost embarrassing. I tried sprinkling powder under the insole as HOKA suggests, but this is only a temporary fix (1-2 days). I absolutely love the shoe for its look and function, but gave it 3 stars due to the narrow toe-box (-1) and the loud, embarrassing squeak at the end of then day (-1). This might be a product/material failure. I will keep the shoe despite everyone hearing me walking from a mile away at the end of each day. Hopefully HOKA can fix this issue in future models.

did not last 2 days of walking at the Phoenix open before the toe guard started to fall off.

Man these are noisy, squeaky shoes on tile floors.
Walking around all day, its hard to tune out the sound when you step.
Also, same shoe size as my many other Hoka shoes, but getting a ton of heel lift.
All in all, bot pleased with the design. They sacrificed structural support in the heel and ankle area and made a overly soft shoe.
Not impressed.

The toe box is tight narrow. It hurts my feet. Even when I seat in the chair, my feet still hurts during the whole day.

I've been waiting for a nice pair of shoes with a great color scheme and these are it. These shoes are so comfortable especially with my orthotics. I definitely recommend these shoes for work or for hiking or just walking around. Thank you for expanding your colors.

Purchased these shoes mainly for work as I needed something light, durable and good looking. It's great cause you really don't have to tie and it fits snug on my feet.

Not as comfortable as my other hoka. stylish, but I can find other shoes for that price that are more stylish. Shoestrings were confusing. When you tighten them, they just flop around.

I bought these and had a work trip to NYC the next week. I wore them through the airport, pounded the pavement in Manhattan, and our NY office with khakis. The perfect show in the modern office and in the city!

Got them when they just launched I had ankle injury on both left and right ankles and needed a pair of running shoes that meet the need. So far since purchased it been satisfactory haven't done any long miles on the road. Just to the gym and community park.
