Both my husband and I have work Hoka running shoes and when my husband saw these shoes, asked for them for Christmas as his everyday shoes. He loved the look and really wanted to like them, but they were way too narrow. They fit nothing like the running shoes and unfortunately are not available in sides so we will have to return them.

Best looking Hoka's imo and comfy enough for walking and going to the gym, but the tongue strap that holds down the elastic show lace started to unravel and now just after a couple weeks is a shredded birds nest of frayed fabric. I will just have to switch to normal laces but its still look terrible unless I cut it all off with a scissor, left and right side won't look the same though. Maybe just bad luck and got a defective pair. Sad this is my first paid or Hoka's ever purchased.

Do not buy unless you have a narrow foot. I didn't buy a wide and only wore them about 5 times then off to the thrift shop.

The picture on Facebook shows it as a light gray or an off-white. It came as an almost tan color. I sent it back and ordered the white. Not what I wanted to do because it was more expensive, but I'd like the shoe. I ordered it as a size 10, which is what all of my other shoes are, but it feels small. I'm ordering 10 1/2 to compare and I'll send one back.

I have narrow feet, so I purchase my regular size about three weeks ago. I love the look and feel of the sneaker and seems to be well made. However, the sizing is off! The front of the sneaker is extremely narrow, crushing my toes. It's worse when you wear socks.

Dang! I typically wear a 13 in a dress shoe and a 14 in an athletic shoe. The size 14 Hokas I received were too small--my toes were pressed against the end of the shoe--and I'm swimming in the size 15 replacement.

I bought these shoes before a trip overseas. They felt good, and the thick soles gave great cushioning on everything from cobblestone streets to hiking paths. After I got home, I used these shoes for my everyday sneakers. After about six months the left shoe developed a bad squeak and I sounded like a chew toy walking down the street. The next month one of the lace straps broke rendering the shoes worthless. If you change out your shoes frequently these are a good, comfortable option, but if you like to keep a pair of shoes a bit longer then look for something different.

The shoe felt to be a bit smaller than the stated size. It also was wide in the ankle to toe area and wrinkled when I walked

This shoe runs EXTREMELY narrow. I have another pair of Hokas that are 11 2E and they're extremely comfortable. These, not so much. And I know they will not stretch over time given the material of the uppers. They are going back.

I was really wanting to like this shoe but my 1st concern was the lacing system. I just felt cheap. Didn't know how it would hold up. Immediately upon wearing them I noticed an audible noise just like wearing flip flops in a hall or stairwell. I have put approximately 10 miles on them hoping that would dissipate but it hasn't. Seriously think about returning them for the GTX series but they aren't available in wide. I like the concept of the shoe but not as it is now. Hola needs to go back to the designing board on this model.

I wanted to like these so much, and I did...for about 3 weeks. HOKA designs a great shoe but they fall apart about 1 month in. Quality is so suspect. I had to return my HOKA Speedgoat 5's because they started falling apart after a few weeks. I replaced them with these and immediately fell in love with the style and the comfort. I even liked the quick laces. Unfortunately, they've held up about as well as my Speedgoats. The first thing to start peeling was the reflective piece on the front. And now one of the seems where the laces are has busted. I can't keep purchasing $150+ shoes that can't last more than a few months. I don't know what happened with the guy who's review headline states 'this shoe can take some abuse.' He mentioned having them for 2 weeks so maybe he did the review at that point. I'm just doing casual walking with them and they do not hold up in the slightest. HOKA has been a big let down for me.

Three or 4 times now I tried to purchase Hoka sneakers, (love them by the way), and you never have the ones I want in a wide width. Tried the stf width with going up a size and still too narrow. Sorry I have to return.

I purchased these shoes for work and really liked them for a few months. However, they have built up some staining or gunk along the ridges that I just can't scrub or wipe off and it looks quite ratty and beat-up.

I wanted to like these. The style and color ate nice. The quick lace system was too long so I opted for the standard laces. Both lacing systems cause pressure points on the top of the foot. The right foot slips a bit. These are no comparison to the Clifton L's which I LOVE, so much I bought two pairs. Unfortunately, the shoes are a miss. I don't recommend.

Shoe fits well but is uncomfortable. I wear a size 15 and it makes a noise every time I take a step. I'm on my feet a lot and you can hear me coming. I'm not very impressed with this shoe, I've had less expensive shoes that fit and feel a lot better.

I REALLY wanted to love the Transports. After 5 pair of Bondis, these seemed to address my two greatest complaints with Hoka shoes: sole durability, and just a bit of a cleaner style to de-emphasize wearing running shoes at work. After four wears, I'm initiating a return. The Good: In spite of being less plush and having a narrower toe box than the Bondis, the Transports are very comfortable right out of the box. A bit firmer and stiffer than the true running shoes, but the more you are on your feet and moving the better they feel. The Transports want to work! The Vibram sole seems truly durable, and I was looking forward to these being my 'do-it-all' shoes -- from work, to walking the dog, to the everyday tasks & errands. The Cordura upper seems far more durable than the usual mesh uppers, and I think over time it would take a pretty good beating. The Bad: after several hours of wear, the narrower toe box did cause some irritation around the metatarsal joint of my big toes. This lessened with each wear, and I think just a little more break-in would have resolved it (again, I only have worn them 4 times). The true deal-breaker, though, is the early appearance of the "Hoka squeak", which for me happens right under the ball of the foot. This is well-documented in reviews and forums for multiple Hoka styles, and every pair of Bondis I have owned has eventually developed this in one of the shoes. I could typically get a year of wear out of them before it started in the Bondis, but I am now four wears into the Transports and both shoes already sound like I'm walking on my dog's squeaker toys with every step. I have always considered it ridiculous that this would happen even after a year in premium road running shoes at a premium price, but after 4 wears it is egregiously unacceptable. This clearly is a design flaw that Hoka designers either can't fix or won't, so I think it's time to try other options.

I have worn HOKA before and like the comfort of the shoe. I wear the shoe for walking only. I ordered this pair for the color. I was tired of grey, black, or white. Mine is nowhere close to the color that I ordered. Mine was solid green. No more online ordering.
