Walking around...shopping etc.

I bought these shoes to wear to work. I stand and walk on concrete all day and I wanted that famous Hoka cushioning to soften the blow but in a shoe that was more durable than a running show. The Transport is exactly what I wanted.

They shoes are comfortable and look nice but are noisy. The right shoes squeaks and the left one has a snapping/popping type sound.

Comfort and color no problems. Slight tightness on right shoe near b8g toe, otherwise pleased with purchase.

After only one week of wearing these, I noticed a drastic reduction in pain behind my knees.

Uncomfortable around the ankle!

I love the all black hoka shoes, I own a few pairs of the speedgoat 5 shoes and other shoes, and I'm converted. I was looking for the same speedgoat 5 shoes in all black, which they don't have, only the GTX version. I don't need GTX, so I just ordered this pair thinking they would work for every day walking, business, work, etc., but I was in them for a few hours, and they are way too hot. I had to change back to my hokas that weren't hot. They were not GTX version. The fit was not great, but the other hoka shoes I wear fit much more comfortably. These don't feel comfortable like my others. I hope they get a speedgoat 5 in all black that is NON GTX, low-top like my other shoes. Others it appears have good experience here, so if it's comfortable for you, go for it. I just need good shoes for my back and feet with all my walking around.

Its the shoe to travel. Extremely comfortable and true to size.

You can find a better shoe for less money. Still, these look great and they fit fairly well. My biggest complaint is that they don't breathe at all. If you don't mind your feet being sweaty messes after a few hours of wear, then these are the shoes for you. Here's the thing: HOKA makes a great shoe. My wife swears by them, and it's all she buys now. Don't let me review dissuade you from exploring other options in the line.

Not real sure how the new lacing system is supposed to work. Might be good to include some instruction. The toe box is more narrow than other HOKA's I have that are the same size.

I enjoyed the shoe. Nice water resistance technology. Good vibram outsoles. Bungee laces were good touch. Only true issue is narrow size. This would be a good pick for a lot of people if made in wide. Also great price point.

First pair of HOKAs. Fantastic. Just like it says above, like walking on clouds.

I've tried the 3 color ways of the Transport shoe and for me having the contrasting white sole was the better look. While I can see the black on black being a choice for the travel world, the all gray seemed to old for my taste. If the black had a white sole it would have been a done deal. I settled on the All Gender model (having the gum accent color was a nice touch). Looking forward to seeing if the contrasting sole shows up in the future. These make great everyday shoes. I love the color of my other Hoka (trail, hiking, running shoes/boots) and like the more sedate options which the Transport brings. Shoes a great in comfort -the squeaking does go away after a slight break-in period. Bravo to the folks at Hoka.

The Transport is a great everyday shoe for street and paved path walking, whether easy strolling or amped up speed walking. I may get a second pair.
