Although they look black in the images online, in bright sunlight theses shoes are dark blue. Unexpected, disappointing, but I wanted them for a trip so I have kept them.

I walk a 2 mile coarse every day for exercise. Approximately 6 months ago, I started having pains in the upper forward portion of my left foot. It was debilitating enough that I had to quit my walking. My daughter told me about Hoka shoes and I thought, Why not? Since I started wearing Hoka shoes, I've been able to resume my walks. Great product!

Easy to put on for an 88 year old. Good for balance. I (wife) already have 4 pairs of Hokas. All I wear. We bought 11 1/2 in tan color. (They go well with our Colorado dress up clothes)

We had to return the shoes. They did not fit but we were very happy with how well the return went. And we found a store and my husband bought a pair at the store.

Can definitely tell this is a quality sneaker. Great for me as a bigger guy who lifts heavier weights. Nice stability and comfort.

loved the shoes, but hated the squeak.. Tight laces, no change. Remove insole, no change. Socks, no socks. They had to go back.

Other Hokas I've gotten have been true in size. 12.5 is what I am and 12.5 in other Hokas is perfect. These 12.5's are a little too small. I sent them back and got a 13 and they fit fit much better. Hokas website recommended a 13 for me when I used their sizing help app. I put my usual size as 12.5 and I selected Hoka as a shoe that fits great at 12.5 and it came back and recommended I get a 13 in this shoe! They were right. Other than sizing issues these shoes seem good so far. Not as cushioned as my Bondi's These are a little more rigid than that, but still a nice stable foot-bed and comfortable

I REALLY wanted to love the Transports. After 5 pair of Bondis, these seemed to address my two greatest complaints with Hoka shoes: sole durability, and just a bit of a cleaner style to de-emphasize wearing running shoes at work. After four wears, I'm initiating a return. The Good: In spite of being less plush and having a narrower toe box than the Bondis, the Transports are very comfortable right out of the box. A bit firmer and stiffer than the true running shoes, but the more you are on your feet and moving the better they feel. The Transports want to work! The Vibram sole seems truly durable, and I was looking forward to these being my 'do-it-all' shoes -- from work, to walking the dog, to the everyday tasks & errands. The Cordura upper seems far more durable than the usual mesh uppers, and I think over time it would take a pretty good beating. The Bad: after several hours of wear, the narrower toe box did cause some irritation around the metatarsal joint of my big toes. This lessened with each wear, and I think just a little more break-in would have resolved it (again, I only have worn them 4 times). The true deal-breaker, though, is the early appearance of the "Hoka squeak", which for me happens right under the ball of the foot. This is well-documented in reviews and forums for multiple Hoka styles, and every pair of Bondis I have owned has eventually developed this in one of the shoes. I could typically get a year of wear out of them before it started in the Bondis, but I am now four wears into the Transports and both shoes already sound like I'm walking on my dog's squeaker toys with every step. I have always considered it ridiculous that this would happen even after a year in premium road running shoes at a premium price, but after 4 wears it is egregiously unacceptable. This clearly is a design flaw that Hoka designers either can't fix or won't, so I think it's time to try other options.

Great shoe and comfortable. However what drives me nuts is the insert frequently comes out when I remove the shoes. I used spray glue to prevent but shouldn’t have to do so. Otherwise it would be a five star shoe.

With a recent medical condition that requires me to wear an athletic shoe instead of a dress shoe at work I choose the Hola transport. Very comfortable and the stability is remarkable. I recommend this shoe.

I am in my eighties and still very active. I have been wearing Skechers for a number of years (quite a bit cheaper). I decided I would spend the extra money and try the Hoka transport (Castle Rock/Black). The shoes fit according to size. They had a different feel when I first tried them on but after a short walk they felt amazing. Great support and a wonderful feeling on my feet. I no longer like to wear my leather dress shoes and more interested in comfort. My wife doesn't like the look of an athletic shoe for a dressy occasion so I decided the Hoka was so comfortable that I would compromise and purchased a 2nd pair in all black. Looks and feels fine to me but I know I will eventually have to go to a more fancy activity and I will have to haul out the old leather shoes. All in all, I am happy with my choices and my feet feel great.

Everybody I have talked to about the HOKA before purchase down. Couldn't say anything bad about them. Everybody said they were great. This is the first time in my life. I'm somewhat frugal that I've spent this much money for a pair of shoes - Any kind of shoes but I feel they well worth it.
