I use these while working in the ER. So far, they feel like I'm walking on clouds! They also feel sturdy enough that I don't worry about them at all, and their protective barrier gives me peace of mind in case they get splashed with, well, anything.
I really liked that they come with shoe laces and they have the fastener option as well, so you get to choose. Overall, I really loved this pair of shoes.

My husband has a pair of these and LOVES them. I have a difficult-to-fit foot. Ordered a pair of 15 W and they were MERCILESSLY small and tight.
I'd also recommend:

I work on concrete for 12 hours a day and these do wonders compared to any of my other Nike shoes. I've had many people ask about them as well, and I tell them all the same thing -- to go buy a pair.

I do like the shoe, unfortunately the fit is a little too tight. If I had known they are on the tight side, I would have ordered 1/2 size bigger.

Shoes are some of the most comfortable shoes I have ever wore. The material the upper part of shoe is made out of is great. The sole or tread is the issue. I bought shoes in June 2024 and sole is already gone. I walk city streets for a living and my feet do not feel tired. The problem is for the price I think the shoes would last longer.

Love the color of Varsity Blue - and style/fit is fantastic!!
I would complain about the returns process though. I ordered the wrong color first, had to return those, but at same time my wife ordered the same pair for me as a surprise. However, the 2nd pair I had exchanged for were not able to be returned because they were an 'exchange' of previous purchase. New pair, and i I couldn't exchange again. Frustrating.

Much like Roots shoes bought decades ago, my Hokas took some time to adjust to the fit, but I walk faster, stronger with better balance. Love em. My wife, who is a nurse, suggested I try them since she and her buddies at work all wear them.

Nice more casual Hoka, i.e. for walking around, errands, etc... don't run, so.... perfect to slip on and off, etc... and not so obvious...

Fits well with prescription inserts. Got some blisters breaking in on heel. 3 mile mixed elevation handled very well traction wise on loose soil, large grave. Noticeably reduced fatigue in my feet, ankles, calves and knees. 10/10 on pavement like wearing shocks.

True to length, but the toe box is quite narrow compared to other Hoka models. Bondi 7 in 11D was a perfect fit for me so I ordered that size for this shoe, next time I'll order wide. Custom orthotics fit comfortably despite the narrow toe box.
Otherwise very comfortable to walk and stand in, and the Vibram sole looks like it will last much longer than Hoka's standard rubber and foam.

I got these for work when I'm not waring my steel toe boots. As all of my Hoka's they were very comfortable right out of the box.

The Hoka Transport shoes are a fantastic choice for anyone looking for a blend of comfort, lightweight design, and versatility. Here are some key highlights:
Comfort: These shoes are incredibly comfortable, thanks to the CMEVA foam midsole that provides excellent cushioning. Whether you're walking around the city or standing for long periods, your feet will feel supported and at ease1.
Lightweight: One of the standout features is their lightweight construction. Weighing in at just 11.2 oz for men's size 9 and 9.1 oz for women's size 8, they won't weigh you down2.
Versatile Lacing Options: The Hoka Transport shoes come with both pull laces and traditional shoe strings, allowing you to choose the style that best suits your needs and preferences1.
Durability: The Cordura upper is not only sleek but also highly durable and scuff-resistant3. This makes them a great option for everyday wear, whether you're commuting, running errands, or even doing some light hiking2.
Sustainability: Hoka has also made strides in sustainability with these shoes, incorporating eco-friendly materials like a Vibram EcoStep outsole that is 90% oil-free2.
Aesthetics: The subtle design of the Hoka Transport shoes pairs well with a variety of outfits, making them suitable for both casual and slightly more formal settings1.
Performance: While they are not designed for intense running, they perform well for daily activities and mild hiking, providing a good balance of support and flexibility2.
Overall, the Hoka Transport shoes are a versatile and comfortable option for anyone looking for a reliable pair of everyday shoes. Whether you prefer the convenience of pull laces or the classic look of traditional shoe strings, these shoes have got you covered.

I was really wanting to like this shoe but my 1st concern was the lacing system. I just felt cheap. Didn't know how it would hold up. Immediately upon wearing them I noticed an audible noise just like wearing flip flops in a hall or stairwell. I have put approximately 10
miles on them hoping that would dissipate but it hasn't. Seriously think about returning them for the GTX series but they aren't available in wide. I like the concept of the shoe but not as it is now. Hola needs to go back to the designing board on this model.

Great for travelling. Toggle lace makes it quick and easy to remove at airport. Very comfortable for city walking. And it comes in Wide. Very pleased with the style of the shoe.
