I bought size L in the men's as the women's XL was out of stock. I love the all black and wanted more so tried the men's L. They are a suitable alternative, though (for me) slightly looser in the waist and thigh than the women's' XL. I'm really pleased with them though and would consider buying them again - potentially typing the M
