I bought the Siren 4 shoe about 2 weeks ago and was only able to wear them once. There must be a defect with the shoe as the right shoe has what appears to be a wire that sticks out under the collar and digs in to my right ankle. It was very painful, so I could not wear them for very long. They also have no grip. In the short amount of time that I wore them I fell twice due to the slippery sole. I own The North Face shoes and have used them for hiking many times without any issues. I will stick to that brand from Now on. I called Merrell about the problem with the shoes and unfortunately they won't issue a refund.
