I forgot that Merrell always runs a half size large for me, so the shoes were too big and I'll be returning them. However, they are really nice looking shoes. I love the colors. The yellow is so subtle. It's a buttery yellow. I would say the it's even better looking in person than in the picture. They weren't amazingly comfortable from what I could tell. I like a cushy shoe that feels nice when you put it on. These aren't that. But you could put in an insole and it would probably go a long way. They also don't seem to be super stiff for a heftier hike. I would call them a light hiker or approach shoe. They are good -looking enough to just be an around town shoe. I also ordered the white and liked the look of them, as well.

Wife LOVED them. The look way better than most hiking shoes and have great tracking.

Run slightly large, so moved down a half size. Wife loved the way they look and says they are super comfortable. Also, +1 to Zappos for being so easy to do returns and get the shoe that fits correctly!

Cute and comfortable, but large. I normally wear a 9 and occasionally a 9.5. These are a size 9 and I put an entire insert in shoe on top of the other one and it fits better now.

I just want to add this information: I ordered this a half size smaller than usual because some reviewers said it was large -- but for me, going down from 8.5 to 8 gave me a shoe that was too short for my foot! I've just now re-ordered it in my regular size as I otherwise love these sneakers, I like the style so much I am having trouble settling on a color.

I ordered a half size bigger since reviews indicated that. They were big and hard to wear even around the house. Didn't like the tough material.

Fits well with good support. Not too heavy but solid enough underfoot to feel secure
