I purchased these sneakers for everyday use. I always buy merrill but this time I was disappointed. When I first put them on I felt like the left foot was leaning in to the instep. I adjusted the laces a little and off I went. When I got home from my 3 mile walk in my neighborhood my left call was sore and the whole walk I felt like the arch support was lacking. I wore them a few times for running to the store they were ok. I foolishly wore them for an all day walk around the city. Needless to say both feet and calf's are sore, mostly the heel and outer foot. I will keep them to wear for short trips but will return to my hikers for longer walks and continue to look for a good everyday walking sneaker.

I purchased a pair of Antora 3 months ago. some of the features really improved ,but the front of the new style is so wide, and my feet being narrow ,makes my daily run much less ,comfortable.
I wish they offered width A ,so people with narrow feet could enjoy the shoes

The fit and size was fine. I really like this style of shoe and that is why I bought 2 pair in 2 different colors. The heal failed in the green pair. I can only assume that it was a production issue. I am very disappointed as I am still able to wear the other color.

They are NOT waterproof. My heel slips. Merrell was a brand I trusted to fit but not a great fit. I got these to hike, walk the dog in wet weather. Really bummed.

The size was fine but the right shoe rolled my ankle inward- I think it’s defective. They are also not waterproof although they came up in the waterproof filter

I bought the Antora 3's recently and was pretty let down by the lack of arch support. I have very high arches and am dealing with pain from a talus fracture almost a year ago and could not wear these shoes for more than 30 minutes. I would compare the arch support to that of Vans, which are essentially completely flat shoes. Very appealing looking shoes and seemed to be decent quality but the lack of arch support was very disappointing.

I've had many ultra comfy, long lasting Merrell's over my life, but that trend seems to have stopped with these shoes. They are super cute and have nice quality uppers, hence the two stars. They were comfy and cushioned in my test walk around the house. However every single time I walk more than one mile in them I regret having worn them. They cause pain in my arches, toes, and outer edge of my foot. They cause my ankle to rotate inward in a weird way when I step. They are unwearable at this point (2 months after purchase). I've never had this experience with any shoes, Merrell or other. The worst part is that Merrell takes no accountability for their change in quality and will only offer a discount on a new pair of shoes. No thanks.

I previously owned two pairs of Antora 2. SO comfortable! They were the perfect walking shoe except that they wore out in the pinkie toe area. In fact that area wore out before the soles did. The soles held up unbelievable well; better than any shoe I have ever owned.
When I got the newest version, Antora 3, I was happy to see that the toe area of the shoe had been improved but noticed that the soles now looked different.
Two areas of disappointment:
1) The insoles were removeable in the Antora 2, but in the Antora 3 they are glued down in the toe area. While I did manage to get them out, it tore up the original insole and left a sticky residue. What a mess. I need to be able to use my own inserts.
2) The new soles have not held up. SO disappointing. I thought I had found the perfect walking shoe but this ruined it for me. I have one pair of my Antora 2 that I still wear. They are a year old and show almost no wearing away of the sole. However my Antora 3 pair, which are not even 4 months old, are worn down in several spots. And when I say worn down, I mean WORN DOWN! The tread is almost completely gone in a few spots.
So I guess the search for a long-lasting shoe begins again. Such a shame. I'd take the old Antora 2 with the toes wearing out before I would take another pair of the Antora 3 with the soles lasting 3 months at best.

I returned these shoes because they felt too wide even when the laces were pulled as tightly as I could wear them. Merrell shoes typically fit me perfectly and comfortably right from the box. These did not. Wasn't a fan of the gray color I ordered and I could not figure out what the elastic band on top of the tongue was for. The elastic turned into a loop that stuck up uselessly and oddly when laces were tied. Also didn't understand what the velcro thing on the outside of the back of the heel was for. Strange shoes!

I have worn Merrell shoes for years but this is the most disappointing product ever. I power walk at least 3 to 4 days a week and walk about 2-1/2 to 3 miles. I am 5'9" and weigh 116 lbs. There is no reason these shoes should be trashed already after only 6 months. I have an old pair that still has 80% of the tread left and they are at least 6 years old.
The proof is in my attached photo.
I'd say buyer beware.

The Antora 3 Botanist are the most comfortable shoes that I have ever worn. I wore these traveling. The first day I wore them I put them on at 4:30 am and didn't take them off until 10:30 that night. I walked through airports and stood around waiting at a rental car kiosk. I never once thought about my feet. I wore them during an all day museum visit and dinner, again not taking them off until late at night. I bought these shoes for an upcoming trip to Europe where we will.be doing a lot of walking. I made the perfect choice. I did order a 1/2 size down after a previous reviewer said they ran large. I normally wear a 9 in a Merrell and I ordered an 8 1/2. I'm 65 yrs old and love the outdoors so my feet have had a lot of wear and tear. My feet love these Antora 3's.

Not what it looks like. The shoes are uncomfortable for a hard sole, I was under the impression they here goi g to be cushioned and soft but, it was completely the opposite.

I had a previous version of these that I wore for work and I absolutely loved them. I wore these for 1 day and by the middle of the day I had to take them off my feet hurt so bad. And the pain didn't go away, it lasted for several days. I could barely walk that first night. I'm not sure what upgrades they did to this, but I haven't been able to wear them since.

I have gotten 2 pairs of these. They both have had yellow stains on them. I decided to order a different one not the antora 3. I have 5 other different merrell and am just surprised that these are not the quality I expect from Merrill.
