I think these fit well, there is room for socks which is good considering the likelihood of them being worn on hikes and such. The back part that goes against your ankle was a little stiff when I put them on but as I wore them out in the field I no longer noticed it.

Nice shoe but it was too big. I may order half a size smaller but not sure it will work at all because the back comes up way too high and I found it uncomfortable on the back of my ankle.

Bought to replace an old pair of rain ready walking shoes and these don't disappoint. No need to break in, comfortable from first wear and nice and supportive on rough terrain.
