Finally, the perfect hiking shoe! Supportive, but not painfully rigid. Light, but durable. Water resistant, but breathable. I love them! Will be purchasing another pair for when these wear out.

As other reviewer stated, the rear of the shoe protrudes a little too high and presses uncomfortably into the achilles. I'm trying to work it, bend it, flex it with my hands each day in hopes of softening it up and making it more flexible. In the meantime, it is an uncomfortable distraction. The shoe also feels a half size shorter and narrower than marked. I ordered an 11 regular width but the shoe feels slightly cramped. I realize this is a hiking shoe and is sturdier and less flexible than the NB sneakers I previously ordered. I'll give this one some more time and will wear daily to break it in more and hope it relaxes enough to feel more comfortable.

It fits ok but doesn't break right over the balls of my feet. I did a couple of longer walks and they are not comfortable. They are great for standing or just walking around the office.

On my third pair of terrex now. Wouldn't wear anything else for walking.

Warm, robust, waterproof and stylish.
The waterproofing does wear out by the end of the season, but I do wear them everyday for work and do keep old pairs for garden, hiking etc.

It is waterproof on wet grass and has excellent grip. Will need to wear it a few times as it is a little hard to wear initially before it becomes more comfortable towards wear. I would recommend this product for hiking rather than just hill walks..

This is the 3rd pair of this range of walking shoe I have bought, different colours. They look good, strong and waterproof. I'm only slight issue on all 3 is a little rubbing on the left shoe on the heel for the first few walks but after they fine. The only reason I replace is due to the grips worn down due to lots of walking but the uppers have been fine.

I bought these specifically for their waterproofing qualities when walking the dog in winter on wet grass and roads. I can say the waterproofing is excellent, no more wet socks. They are a chunky and well built shoe the tread is very robust so will be great for hiking and use on rough surfaces. They are not as comfortable as a usual walking or running shoe. I went the all black pair and it looks amazing. I'd recommend this as a second shoe for when you need a strong hiking or waterproofing qualities.

If you need one pair of shoes to rule the rest of your day, this is the one. From gravel roads to well paved office floor, this will pass comfort, style and elegance. Just like all hiking shoes, get a pair half an inch more than your size or you will lose your toe nails on long distance mountain hiking.

This was a gift for a friend who said they were one of the best trainers he has worn. They are comfortable, and durable and waterproof, which is very much needed in Scotland.
