Our daughter wore these while we were hiking in the Redwoods and didnt complain at all. She said they were super comfortable and loves how colorful they are.

I have bought several pairs in different colors. They are so comfortable and cushioned! I walk a mile every day. Im a womans size 6.5 but the Big Kids size 5 fits me perfectly!

These used to be our favorite shoe, bought every year for my son. This year they fell completely apart after about one week of wearing to school. Front toe tip shredded, sole separated, tread worn super far. I still had the last pair in the garage for a hand me down. After wearing a full summer season, they were still in good enough shape for another kid to wear. Clearly something in this generation of Nova manufacturing changed big time. I will say that Merrell CS recognized this as a defect issue and came through with a replacement credit. We found our new fav, (Agility Peak) and are still loyal Merrell customers.

NOT the usual Merrell quality. These shoes were delivered early-May and my son wore them for school starting on 5/6. School ended on 5/24. He wore these for 3 weeks - ONLY for school - and the tread and soles of these shoes are already worn off and I dont even expect these to last another month for his summer term during June. Im surprised by the poor quality of these sneakers as Ive owned plenty of Merrells myself and have never experienced this kind of issue. Very unhappy with this purchase! And disappointed by the lack of durability in a brand known for their durability.

We love these shoes and are on our 4th pair. However this pair has delaminated from the sole within a couple months! Im not sure if the manufacturing changed but this was not our past experience. Hoping it can be rectified and we can continue to purchase the previous sturdy version.

Poor Quality and tried to report to Customer Service but no response!

We got this product right before school started and he's already worn the soles all the way down. Our first pair's laces broke within a couple weeks and customer service was great about the replacement. This however should've been an omen that the quality on these wasn't up to par. My kid has only ever worn Merrells but the Moabs are better quality.

This is my kiddos fourth pair of Merrells. So far they are holding up great (he plays hard) and he gets lots of comments about how cool they look.

Not as durable as I had hoped. Purchased in hopes of finding something my 10 year old would not wear through in a month but unfortunately these didnt last.

I bought these for my 2nd grader for school and within one month they were starting to fall apart. The rubber was pulling away from the fabric. At month two, the rubber soul is completely worn. They also smell terribly despite their anti-stink feature.

We really wanted to like these shoes. Our 3 year old has had good luck with other Merrell shoes but these ones were ruined in a weekend. I'm not sure if you can call it "normal wear and tear" as we were doing quite a bit of bike/strider riding and the shoes took a lot of abuse through his braking on the bike. The soles of the shoes just melted away though, like a pencil eraser on sandpaper. The shoes are no longer wearable. If your little person is an avid rider, best look at a different shoe.

We loved these at first. But 10 days in they are falling apart. My son has worn them to daycare 4 days and this is what they look like. (That's just for outdoor time, he has indoor shoes) Not impressed at all. I assumed with the brand that they would be good until he grew out of them or at least through the summer. Super disappointed!!!! I wouldn't purchase these again. It's just not worth it for a 4 year old if you need to buy new ones every month because they obviously won't last longer than that!

Volcano Red is Pink. Bought the shoes for two of my boys cause they love red. But they are mostly pink.
