Fit true to size, comfy inside and tough materials outside- great buy for kid

I usually love Merrell and Keens for my 3.5 and 5.5 yr old but these Merrell’s were odd. I purchased a size 13 little kid. My son is currently in 12-12.5 little kid. I have a pair of Merrell sneakers size 12 that are getting too small so I’m familiar with how the brand fits. These were very large and very wide and needed to be returned. Disappointed.

I thought this would be too big for my son (10 yo). But he likes the fit. He needs more space in the toe box and he can spread out more instead of squeezing his toes together.

These are super cute and comfy but they are boys sizes. My daughter wear 5-6 and the 5 was huge so I checked the box and they are boy sizes. So go down 2-3 sizes for girls.

The shoes were huge! Looked like they would cut in at the ankles.

Too wide, returned for another Merrill pair

My son loves his Merrells but unfortunately this hydro 2 design was too big a fit. We got them in the size he usually wears in Merrells but they were too loose and there was no way to tighten the toe area effectively.
