Even though the heel is pretty high (for what I usually wear) these are so comfortable that I can use them all day. It's also water resistant which works well on light rain days

I love the Laurel (olive suede) Lyra boot. I also have them in black. Ok, I got lots of compliments the first time I wore them out during the day. They felt comfortable the first few times I wore them and I have sensitive feet! (I'm a Pisces with wide feet.) I got the 10W even though I am really a 9.5W because I wanted to wear them with Smartwool socks over tights. The fit and comfort of these boots is superb. Then I wore them out on NYE on a fun date to see a band at an outdoor concert venue. We walked five blocks to the place and then stood and walked around for a few hours. By the third hour, I had to find a chair and sit down and that's really unusual for me, as I love to dance. It wasn't great weather but it did rain and my feet stayed dry. The walk back to the car was brutal on my feet, and I had terrible lower leg cramps all night. Note: I do Pilates & strength training at the gym, and I ride horses. I don't typically experience leg pain. I'm going to continue to wear these fabulous boots but I will plan to wear them only when I don't need to walk 5+ blocks plus stand/dance/walk around for 2-3 hours. Definitely a good city boot but for short distance walking only. I love the olive green suede color as it matches my favorite Stetson Fedora and my olive wool coat.

These boots are a beautiful addition to a fall wardrobe! They are well-made, easy to walk in (even with the high heel), and pair perfectly with leggings or skinny jeans. The only small complaint I have is that they are very stiff. I'm certain they will soften after wearing them more. I would absolutely get this boot in more colors!

I really wish I read more of the reviews instead of just some! I love the style/design/height and I can tell they're supposed to be comfy but they run a little too big. After wearing once in the office at a sitting desk job for 8 hours (only walking to/from my car which is about 5mins), I can feel the soreness/rubbing! If I wore these every day, I know I'd probably get blisters. I used to serve so I have no problem in heeled shoes for 12 hours a day usually. I thought about getting insoles but for the price of these boots, I didn't want to spend more getting insoles and having them *maybe* fit. I would purchase these in half a size smaller than my usual but now they are out of sizes :( sad!
