I love black patent loafers. I have received compliments on these. However, the sides of the shoes are bagging out already after wearing them for 2 months.

The shoe itself is beautiful. Very well made. It fit nicely on toe box, but too loose on heel.

Just a tad too snug in both length and width, I would simply exchange for a half-size larger if not for one hang-up of mine: the high-gloss shine. On someone else, I would say it looked like a great shoe, but I just cannot get into shiny. I know this shoe comes in patent leather, but it never crossed my mind that a "pebble" texture would be so shiny. Does not look that way in the pics; in person it is so glossy as to look like plastic. A horrible shame as it is a very well constructed shoe at a great price.

Gorgeous, well-made shoe. I am an 8 1/2-9 M in everything, usually a 9, with a slightly narrow foot, and I need room across the ball of the foot so as not to aggravate a neuroma. This felt, and looked, a half size too long and I walked out of it with every step. I do think it would be too narrow in a smaller size. Will look for a Marc Joseph in a different style.

I really wish these shoes would have fit. They are so well made, and they were packaged so beautifully. They were just too narrow in the toe box for me. I wouldn't say that run narrow; it's just that my feet are wide around the ball of my foot. Sadly, I have to return them.

These are by far the most comfortable shoes!! No need to break them in. I bought a pair last year in navy and this September in black. I get so many compliments on them. A navy shoe is kinda hard to find so these are perfect!! Would recommend them hands down.

Absolutely love these. It's my second pair, as I have them in another color. I will buy more!

Beautiful loafer Quality and color exactly what I was looking for. I am a size 10 and typically need half size larger in flats. Ordered 10.5 but too large. Replaced for size 10.

I own other similar Marc Joseph shoes and the nice quality of these are no different. My feet are a bit wide, but I thought I'd take a chance with these. Alas, too narrow and I do not think they will stretch enough with wear. I highly recommend them, however.

Shoe gaps on sides

The shoes gaped at the sides and therefore did not feel stable and also looked awkward. Didn't like the leather texture

I went with recommendation from other reviewers that these shoes ran small but that was no my experience. I thought the leather would be a soft, natural stained leather but seems almost "plasticized."

Love these shoes. Comfortable the first time I wore them, a 10 hour day!

The shoe is beautiful! However it gaps on each side, wasn't very flattering. Wanted soo badly to keep them, but unfortunately had to return them.

These are the most perfect loafers ever made. I purchased them in my true size 6 and they fit like they were custom made; no breaking in required. The padded insoles are equivalent to the most comfortable and supportive pillow you’ve ever owned. They have exquisite leather inside and out, and I adore the feminine design with the perfect sized vamp as loafers with long vamps nearly up to the ankle can look a bit bulky. They make every outfit classic and stylish. I purchased them in the Black and Dark Brown grainy leather (truly appreciate the Dark Brown as it’s a hard-to-find color in shoes), then recently treated myself to the Black patent leather. The workmanship is outstanding as each of my three pairs have the same perfect fit. I love the red tag that provides a subtle display of high quality. Don’t hesitate to buy these loafers!

The size was great a bit tight but feels like it will stretch with time. I very happy with the purchase

I'm a sucker for a great patent loafer. I loved the black so much that i just ordered the red. Feminine and so comfortable, right out of the box.

Beautiful loafer. Hate to send it back. Love it. I have tried multiple sizes in the same shoe. 9 1/2 wide was too short and 10 was too long and narrow.

The length of these shoes were fine but when I walked the sides of the shoes bent out, making them appear too wide and like they'd get looser over time. The arch and soles were very comfortable so this is disappointing.

The shoe has a traditional loafer look, but I found it uncomfortable. I ordered my usual 10B, and the heel of the shoe left a huge gap between my foot and the back of the shoe. I am used to a small gap on my heel, which I compensate for with orthotics, but this was way too big. A smaller size would have cramped my toes. I also prefer a much softer feel with slip-on shoes. Instead I kept a higher quality pair from this same order. Sorry, but these shoes didn’t work for me.

This pair of patent leather loafers is a favorite look. These shoes are well made and comfortable.

The shoes ran larger than expected. Ordered a 9.5 Wide and returned for a 9W in black patent leather. Gaps a bit but that may just be on my feet! Great looking shoe!

I love these shoes! So much so, I have bought several by this brand.
