I love these slippers, but only gave them a 4 out of 5 rating because they only come in whole sizes. As a true size 7-1/2, it pains me no end to have to buy a size 8, which is ALWAYS a little too big. Companies that don't offer half sizes just don't get it. In addition to not being able to order my ACTUAL size, and have to go up 1/2 size, I have narrow feet and heels, which only makes the fit even more tricky. Having said that, the length isn't too terribly long and they are very comfortable, offering good padding, warmth, and decent arch support, and I do have fairly high arches. For reviewers that complained about lack of ankle and arch support, these are NOT athletic shoes or hiking boots...they are slippers. As far as I'm concerned, the support is more than adequate for a slipper, and the fact that they have a sole that can be worn outdoors is a real plus. I would definitely recommend them and buy them again.

A little stiff but comfortable. I have to hold the loop at the back, otherwise my heel crushes the back down. Stiff sole, but that will make it usable for a quick outside trip.

But one thing could be better. I bit hard to pull on, but comfortable and warm.

I really liked these booties, but I just couldn't get the right size for my size 8wide feet. The 8 was too tight and the 9 felt too long, but still tight in the width. I wish more shoes came in wide sizes. Otherwise, the booties were soft and warm, with reasonably good support. I also thought they were a cute looking. If you are a medium width I would recommend you try them.

Warm but flat sole. Some arch support. Good for around the house.

Comfortable. I don't wear them for playing/hiking outside, mainly around town or backyard. I prefer a snug tie shoe for more energetic activities.

These are very good quality, as you'd expect from LLBean. The quilted nylon, the ankle-high style, and thick solid sole makes them nice and warm even around my ankles, which is what I was looking for. 4 stars rather than 5 because they are wide and loose on my foot - not much shape, so I have to wear socks with them to feel comfortable. (The length is fine, so it's not that they are the incorrect size. In regular shoes, I wear an 8M.) And while the sole is substantial, a bit higher shaped arch support on the insole would make my feet happier.

As much as I loved these shoes/boots I would encourage you to order at least a 1/2 size up. The size I always order from LLBean were so small I couldn't even get my foot in without a sock.

I love these for wearing around the house and quick jaunts into the yard. If I didn't want to keep them clean for indoor wear, I wouldn't hesitate to wear them out and about! I need lots of arch support, so had to add an insert. They keep my feet much warmer than any other slipper I've tried, though I wouldn't mind if they were a bit warmer. I'm actually thinking of getting another pair for running errands as they look great with jeans and are so comfortable. Oh - one important bit - when I first put them on, they were a bit snug, but they loosened up within a day. I wear a 9 and these fit as expected. 4 stars only because I had to add the arch support insert.

After reading the reviews, I ordered 1 size larger than usual and they fit nicely. They aren't quite as warm as I expected, so I add a pair of thick socks. One thing - I ordered the purple because I love bright colors. But they look a lot more like slippers than anything else.

They were comfortable out of box. Why I didn't give a five because they weren't as warm as I expected! Runs true to size. I got a larger size because I wanted to wear thick socks!

Surprisingly comfortable with reasonable arch support. Nice color combos. Good for indoor/outdoor wear on cold, dry days.

I absolutely love these. They are fun to wear and keep my feet warm whether running around the house or going out for coffee. I gave the 4 stars only because I wish the footbed was a wee bit more cushioned (arthritis and the ravages of age, I'm afraid).

Very nice looking and warm booties. I would have given them five stars but they are a bit too wide for me. Heavy sox will fix that. Also had a hard time getting them on the first few times. But I finally figured it out and now all is well.

Love the shoe, except they are wide and run a bit big overall. If you have a narrow foot you prob won't like. I just double my socks up.

I like them, they are warm and the colors are funky! My only complaint is that they leave marks on our hardwood floors.

Bought yesterday. Great inside. Bought my size but can't wear socks with them. Inside is fine but outside I'd need socks!

I like the design & look of this slipper. I found it narrow in the forefoot and shorter than expected. I can wear womens 7.5 (and some times 8). I ordered 8. I needed to return & order a full size bigger (9). I don't think I have ever worn a 9. I plan to use at the Northern WI cabin and wear if I need to quickly take the dogs out to do their business. I think they will work well for that.

Lightweight, comfortable, practical, great looking Just wish the colors that come in mens sizes were also available in women's/smaller options and not go strangely gender specific.

Because I ordered online,, it took two tries to get the right size. They're very comfortable and warm, and I love the colors. I wish they had more support, especially in the arch.

I like the easy on and off of these and their warmth. Seem to run a bit small.

I asked for these as a Christmas gift from my husband. Got them early. I wear an 8 and got an 8 and a 9. Based on reviews wasn't sure which would work since many said they ran small but never have worn a 9. I liked the 9 feel better only because it felt looser in places the 8 didn't but my heel moved up and down when I walked so I knew that meant blisters. I tried thicker socks but didn't help. I kept the 8 in hopes it will loosen a tiny bit in a few spots where pressure was on my foot. It did fit and my toes weren't cramp. I am a wide and it didn't rub or feel too narrow. The spots where pressure was is odd, it's not where you'd have it if a shoe was too small so that is why I think they may be totally fine after the losses up. Like others said, it did take pulling it on and off with the fabric hook. I had a harder time getting them off than normal boots as it pulled my sock off when taking off the shoe with the hook. wearing thin socks which is what the 8 will require for me. The 8 is not uncomfortable for me but felt they need to be worked in to loosen. I hope they do that. The 9 came in a damaged inner box and already had a small stain on bottom of boot but was willing to over look since it wear it's walked on if they were right fit but they weren't. Maybe it was a defect in the beige color when made since it wasn't something that could be wiped off. Retuned the 9. As others have said it's a sturdy boot. Doesn't feel like a slipper at all, not even a back yard or getting mail one. It definitely feels like a regular boot that can be worn as normal to run errands. That's what I got it for, to wear when it rains. I saw someone mention spraying them with water resistant spray. I plan to do that. I haven't worn them out yet but very excited to do so. The only thing I would wish different is they'd do 1/2 sizes in these as I think an 8.5 in this book would have been perfect for me. But maybe they will loosen enough or my feet won't swell at all walking in these if I wear them too long. Love the look of the shoe. Well made and I think they will last long time.

The top of the boot is high so it keeps my feet warm as soon as I put them on. There is a sturdy loop on the back so I can pull them on, but I can't just slide my feet in without sitting down.

If you have any foot issues, these may not be for you. The small opening concerned me at first, but the back loop helps in getting these on your feet w/o much problem. These have a cocoon-like fit with a micro-suede-like lining, so socks are not really needed. I had tried these with a thin sock, but the narrowness combined with the suede-like lining made that a no go (bunched the sock up). Otherwise, I love them! Comfort + warmth, just what I was looking for!
