Bought half size up as recommended and now settled in feel they are too large and have almost an inch beyond my toes. It feels like duck feet when I walk, yet I can only get them on using a shoehorn as the back folds inward without itunusual for a slipper. Color, comfort and sporty style lovely, but

I don't know how to review this because I really want to like them but they are not attractive at ALL. They look like men's slippers and are big and have no fit to your feet at all. They are nice and warm though. I have no idea how to clean them since they are suede and I didn't think of that when I ordered them. I thought they would at least have some shape to them but they do not. If they would have slimmed down the sides to fit your foot they would fit better and be more attractive. I like the rubber sole but they are really clunky to walk in. I should probably send them back but I really want to give them a chance and like them. That's a lot of money though to not be totally happy with them. If they would have made them more form fitting and more like woman's slippers that would make a big difference. They are also hard to get on because the back keeps bending inside the slipper. They have absolutely no shape to them.

Cheaply made, poly fleece, terrible for people with high arches

These are the most uncomfortable slippers I have ever had on my feet. First off they are so stiff around ankles. The worst is the leather tab inside where your heel sits on the bottom, would rub the bottom of your foot raw. Very poor design.

I bought these thinking that that would be the greatest slippers that I ever bought. I was so wrong. They are so hard to get on. You have to pull up from the back and if you have arthritis that makes it impossible to do. When you have them on they look like men's boots and they are so ugly looking. I got one size bigger, glad I did or I couldn't get them on at all. The biggest mistake I've made was not sending them back. I threw away my old pair that had holes in them and badly needed a new one. I curse every day that I have to wear these. These are more for men then women. I don't want my slippers looking like men's slippers. So sad that I didn't send them back.

fit is terrible and sizing way off...they are going back

Nice looking but caused physical discomfort leading to pain up through the right leg from which I still suffer 3 weeks after I stopped wearing them. Had also purchased a pair for my daughter who had the same trouble with them. We're have since disposed of them. Merry Christmas! :(

Slippers did not fit, no half sizes, nothing comparable at nearest retail store

The slipper was too large and very boxy looking. The shape didn't look like the photo in the catalog. Very disappointing. Obviously, I returned it.

Couldn't get my foot in very well. Opening is too small. Returned.

They are already wore down, poor quality. the sewn part around the toe is fraying, i havent owned them 2 months,

Returned . Not what I expected . Cheaply made and constructed . Very wide and not stylish . I return very few items but this is definitely one LL Bean needs to review construction on if out sourced . Thank you

For Christmas I purchased a pair for me, size 11 and a pair for a dear friend, size 10. They were absolutely what we wanted; a rugged slipper. I couldn't get my heel in the slipper! My friend couldn't fit her foot in hers and then tried on the size 11. She thought she could get it on but decided she didn't want to risk damaging the slipper or fighting with getting the slipper on every time she wanted to wear them. The idea of a slipper is to slip into them. I ordered my husband a man's version of the style and luckily sized up, He had a tough time putting it on but on the man's style there's a critical bit if elastic that makes the fit easier. So comfy and warm when he did get them on he decided to keep his and hopes they'll stretch out with wear. Doggone it! We wanted these slippers!

Absolutely love my new slippers! I don't want to take them off to go to sleep! They keep my feet so warm in cold apartment. Expensive but worth the purchase!

I bought this same slipper last year, size 8. Fit great. I bought this now, size 8, and it was way too tight. Not consistent with sizing. Had to return.

I expected that my feet would be more warm in these Mountain Boots. Even with thick wool socks, these shoes get very cold. I have lesser house shoes that keep my feet warmer. I am very disappointed. In the past L.L. Bean could be relied upon to provide a better product.

The opening to put my foot into the boot was not large enough - once I got the boot on the boot was comfortable and the right size, but the struggle to get it off again was very frustrating so I immediately arranged for a return ;(

I ordered a 10 first because the size chart said if you wear a half size, size up. Oh boy! When I first opened the box I was so excited! This is the little bootie I've been looking for. I put the right one on first and it was big. But I thought, ok let me get the left one on and walk around. Maybe they aren't too big. When I took the left one out of the box the opening was HUGE! It was so huge I could slip it on almost like a clog. So I thought about it and decided to order a 9 thinking that maybe, since every shoe is made different the 9 would fit. Out of the box I was very hopeful but when I got these on they were so short it was painful. A 9 1/2 would have been perfect. I wanted to love these so badly!! Honestly, I've had to return almost 10 pairs of shoes because LLB doesn't make half sizes in more of their shoes. Now I'm having to go to another seller when I really wanted your shoes LLB.

Love the look of these but are very uncomfortable. They hurt the front of my ankles and the leather is so stiff I don't see that changing as they break in. Very disappointing. I also don't appreciate that I have to pay to send them back. I've ordered a lot from LL Bean and have never had to return an item, so was unaware of their return policy (my bad); needless to say, I won't be ordering from them again.

I bought these and tried to make them work but am unhappy with the back height of the slipper and how stiff they are. Don't wear them. Minimal inside padding, not soft at all, not warm

The slippers would have been a great Christmas present for myself . Unfortunately I didn't get them. Bah Humbug. Nothing under the Christmas tree for me. Wrong item sent

I really like these, and plan to keep them, they are warm and comfy snuggly. The only criticism I have is that they are difficult to get on, and require some tugging from the back of the heel, and stepping firmly into the slipper. I also love the well-crafted, thick soles. They're wonderful for stepping outside briefly. Oh no, a great slipper/moccasin, just needs a little work with the ease of getting into them.

Fit is at least a half size small. Not very soft or compliant, so not very comfortable, especially at the top of the tongue area where there is a very hard piece that irritates the top of the instep.

Ill fitting and not cushioned. Sized up but too big. Needed 7 1/2

Ups said would get one day and then didn't do it.. shocker
