I have wanted some slippers like this for years but I am cheap, so I have purchased other, less expensive brands for years. They never cut the mustard, so I finally broke down and bought the wicked good slippers I should have gotten all along. I wear them every day (wearing them currently) and they are holding up very nicely. The quality is amazing and I expect them to hold up for a lifetime, like the ones my grandfather had. They aren't too hot on days that aren't frigid, due to the real sheepskin. I hate I didn't buy them years ago.

Although I think the price is a bit steep. These were the only slippers I could fine that I really loved. Extremely comfortable, perfect fit and warm!

These slippers are called wicked good for a reason! Over time every family member has put them on their Christmas list, and repeated the request in the years when they have finally worn out. I'm not sure any of us would want to go thru a winter without them. You will never go wrong with this purchase!

My husband bought for me my first pair of Wicked Good Slippers 11 years ago, and I have worn them every single day, sometimes all day long if I'm at home. (And I'll admit I've worn them in the car a hundred times while taking the kiddos to school or picking them up, lol!) The quality of these slippers have surpassed the quality of most anything I own. This past year, the lambswool started to really deteriorate and the wicking feature had weakened to the point that I HAD to wear socks. So I decided it was time to treat myself to a new pair. First I was worried that they were no longer made, but was so relieved when I saw LL Bean still offered them. THEN I read the reviews. TONS of them. Honestly, I was SO worried about the current quality based on the number of bad reviews. Some of the things I read were: people's feet sliding to one side of the shoe, the narrow width at the toes which made it difficult to wear socks, and the top seam strip no longer being part of the design. I was REALLY REALLY worried the new slippers were going to disappoint, and I would never find another slipper shoe I loved again. But I had faith and placed my order anyway. I remember my husband reading reviews on this slipper when he ordred them many years ago that they run a bit small, and he orderd a size up for me. So I ordered a size 9 because I wear a size 8. When I received my shoes, I tried them on, and as most of the bad reviews reported, my foot slid to one side. UH OH. The toes seemed narrow. OH NO. And the top seam strip was missing. I wondered if that would mean the seam quality would be compromised? Then I thought back to the day I got my first pair of Wicked Good Slippers. I remember having the exact same thoughts about the sliding of my foot and the width of the shoe. And boy was I thankful they were one size bigger than I normally wear. So I put my new slippers on, and I wore them every single day for a week. Here's the outcome: The lambswool compressed just enough for to MY foot and it no longer slides. The width (even at the toes) broke in beautifully to MY foot. If I need to wear socks, it will not be a problem. The top seam is stitched to amazing quality and includes a triangle patch at the end of the seam to any prevent separating or ravelling. The size ran small, as expected, due to the GENEROUS amount of lambswool, which I so appreciate. I am SO glad I trusted my gut. I am so glad I have a new pair of Wicked Good Slippers that I will wear for another decade. And I hope that LL Bean will continue to offer these in another decade when it's time to order a new pair. I can only say to not be afraid of the bad reviews on this site. The Wicked Good Slippers still feel and perform wonderfully. Just give it a week or so, and you'll be right back where you want to be. In THE most amazing slipper EVER made. Thank you LL Bean. My feet are STILL happy.

The terry robe was a Christmas gift for my wife. The color red was perf3ct for the occasion and robe itself a good fit. Heavy enough to be warm on cold winter mornings. Points scored!

My wife wore out her first pair after a couple of years, and wanted a new pair. She loves them.

I have no idea how these slippers were "back in the day" but right now I can tell you they are worth every penny. If you are a cold feet person or own wood/tile floors get these house shoes and you will not be sorry. Warm, supportive with the perfect amount of cushioning. They don't look like super stylish house shoes but I tell you they will warm your feet immediately.

Wicked Good are the best slippers period!! Nothing else comes close to the comfort or quality.

This is not my first purchase of the Wicked Good Slippers. I have been wearing them for decades and will continue to. These are the warmest, most comfortable slippers ever. I can't imagine not having a pair. Each pair has lasted me about 5-7 years. When a pair wears out I'll order a new pair, then use the old pair when I take trips. If you wear these you'll have happy feet!

My slippers are a great fit and so warm in these cold New England winters.

I have had similar slippers for about 15 years and they are very comfy and long lasting - still in great shape. I bought this pair for my daughter as a present and she was very excited to receive them. They fit well and she loves them!

I love these slippers. They are warm and super comfortable.

I spent a lot of time searching websites, reading reviews, buying and returning slippers until I found these. If you want warm slippers save yourself some time and just order these. The instructions are correct, the slippers will feel a bit snug at first & as you wear them they shape to your feet.

I have been asked to write reviews from companies of many products in the past, but I almost always pass on the opportunity. Bean's Women's Wicked Good Slippers are the exception to that rule. I have been purchasing them for many year. They are a family favorite, requested as gifts time and again, and they fit perfectly for each of the three generations of family wearers. They are warm and cozy, with no ties or seams, all of which too often can become annoying. On a scale of 1 to 10, I give them a 10+!

My first pair of these slippers came from my mother-in-law when I married into the family 46 years ago and I have continued to wear them ever since. They keep my feet toasty warm and last "forever." This current pair that I bought was to replace a 2 year old pair for my daughter who lives in the PNW. We can't imagine going through a winter without them!

Have bought these for my wife for at least 30 years. She wears them constantly with each pair lasting about 4 years. They are warm, durable and comfortable. What more could you ask.

I get a pair every year or so, and love them. I have tried some others, but these are the best.....cozy and warm.
