I was never a slipper person, until my sister introduced me to the Wicked Good slippers more than a decade ago. We don't wear outdoor shoes in the house, so I wear indoor shoes when I have socks on (backless sneaker/clogs with arch support), and then at night... ahhh. I slip into my jammies, put on my delightfully thick long fleece LL Bean bathrobe, and sink my feet into my Wicked Good slippers. Add a mug of herbal tea, and I am in heaven.
Like all good things, they take a few days to soften up. The soles are unfortunately slippery, so be a tad careful. But the inside furry fleece, whatever it is, is perfection. The slippers' ankle height is ideal for cool nights/mornings in our drafty old house, yet not too high as to get in the way. They easily "toe" off so I can lazily slip them on, pull up the back handle over my heel, and toe them off before bed (or the shower).
The outer leather lasts far longer than the inner wonderful furry fuzz. As such, I've learned that I need to rotate my slippers and buy a new pair pretty much every year. My old slippers go to our summer house, my old-old slippers get tossed, and I wear my new slippers in great comfort nearly every day. It's worth noting that I could keep wearing my old slippers, particularly if I wore socks, but then I'd lose the sensation of surrounding my feet in furry delight.
I have not kept track as to how long I wear a pair... is it a year, 14 months, 16 months? All I know is that when I find myself dreaming of new slippers, it is past time. There are very few things that I can consistently count on in life. These slippers, silly as it may sound, are one of them. They do not change. PLEASE do not change them, LL Bean! They are perfectly delightful just as they are.
For reference sake, I am an 8.5 medium, and I order up to a 9. I don't mind, it works out perfectly!

A while back I was looking at purchasing some of those on-trend fuzzy sandal slippers. My partner saw me looking at them and noted how unpractical they seemed. Dang, he was right. They are cute, but probably wouldn't keep my feet warm. I scoured the internet in search of cute warm slippers. I'm a big fan of the shearling look, and these did not disappoint! I love that they cover my whole foot (they can get sweaty if you wear them too long). Other reviewers mentioned the tags inside the slipper. Yes, they are super uncomfortable if you don't remove them, but they can easily be torn out with your hand. I believe they are meant to be torn out. Anyway, I'm so happy I found these slippers!

I got my first pair of these in the 1990s and I remember wearing them every evening for 10-12 years until they just got too grungy. I bought new ones and wore them consistently until the grunge set in.
In the last 3-5 years I bought them, the lacing tends to break in about a year. For the past couple years I've replaced them but this year I fixed them myself with a shoelace.
Pro-tips:
- Baseball glove lacing doesn't work - it's too wide.
- A bodkin can be helpful.

I gave them to my wife as a "Christmas in February" present and she loved them. This is the second pair I have given her and she likes these even more than the first pair as these were the chocolate color

Wore out my last pair after 25 years or so and delighted to find you still offer this classic.
They are wonderfully well-made, comfortable and warm--what's not to like?

I have warn these slippers for decades. I have very bad feet and cannot go barefoot and use orthotics in all footwear. Also suffer cold year around so these are a savior for me.
Highly recommend.

Absolutely love these slippers. This is at least the fifth pair I've owned. I don't like that the tag is down by the arch of my foot. Makes no sense and I don't remember that in other pairs I've owned. Overall these are the best- can't live without them!

I bought these for my wife while visiting the Maine store 16 years ago. She wears these all the time and they are still good but getting thinner in the sole. So this year I bought her another pair for Valentine's day. These are worth the money!!

Comfortable and warm. Being leather, with time they became too large. I would order smaller size next time.

I purchased these slippers to replace my 20 year old ones, which just started to fall apart. You forget how snug new ones feel.(especially after 20 yrs!) It's like a warm hug for your feet!

These slippers are the best. My ankles get cold so these slippers solve that problem. They fit true to size and are so comfortable. Soft bottom so they are not designed to be worn outside. Just wish the wonderful sheep lining didn't wear down so soon but that's typical. I've been wearing these for over 10 years, ordering new ones about every 2 years. Love them!

I call these my slippers from heaven. I could never find anything to keep my toes warm. After going through another pair of slippers that only lasted one month, I turned to LL Bean. I wanted warm slippers with a soft sole. These are perfect. They cost more than I usually spend for slippers, but I am hoping they last a long time.

These slippers last a very long time - my 3rd pair in 30 years. Very comfortable and cushiony. Keep my feet warm, but never sweaty.

I have had several pairs of these over the years. I won't wear any other slippers in the winter. They are warm and comfortable. Best slippers ever!

I love these slippers. My feet are narrow and these slippers stay on without slipping and they are toasty warm. They haven't stretched out in the month I have been wearing them, but if they do I will just put in an innersole. If you are in between sizes, order up.

I love these slippers so much. I had been looking for something with a supportive leather sole, and these were exactly what I wanted. Even though they come up to the ankle, they don't offer any ankle support, and are a bit wide in the heel/ankle area, but that's not a problem for me. They're also a bit narrow in the toe area, but as they are suede, I imagine they will stretch a bit with wear. And, as an added bonus, they arrived almost a week before I expected them to! Highly recommend.

I love the slippers, they're very comfortable. I have narrow heels and the high back keeps the slipper from slipping up and down. I think they're great.

My second pair of this style. Tried others but came back to this for the winter. Love that they cover the ankle and can be worn without socks - make them feel even warmer.
