I am in my 70s and wanted a boot that had a good slip proof bottom. This boot was the answer and more. I now feel very secure in walking in the variable weather in Wisconsin. Oh and the soft warm inside is an extra bonus. Thank you

Finding a truly warm, cozy, well-made pair of winter boots can be a challenge. Search no more. Find your size and buy a pair! I have older feet that appreciate winter time love and TLC. These boots are nice looking, toasty and light weight. I am a size 7.5 and I bought size 7.5. A perfect fit. These are soft, warm, and more comfortable than some slippers I own. Get a pair for yourself and someone you love & enjoy the winter friends!

The boots are as described, but somewhat narrower than expected. No other widths except B. My need for a fairly wide toe bed required a half size larger so the boot fits loosely in the heel and is a bit long but oh so comfy. The soles are indeed trippy but tend to gather mud that dispels all over the house if not carefully cleared of debris. Dried mud comes right off the suede uppers. Not sure how waterproof yet. They are indeed cool inside and warm outside but never hot despite faux fur and insulation. They might tend to smell if not removed after long wear. I tend to want to leave them on even after wearing for eight hours. But I havent had them long enough to know if thats a problem. I tried running in them and beside my socks slipping down due to the loose heel, they work! Bonus! They are odd looking but suit me! Returns were easy but too bad they charge restocking fee unless you use LL Bean credit card.

Very comfortable and warm for early chiily morning walks.

There is absolutely no arch support, which seems to be a common theme with winter boots in general. The biggest design flaw with this pair is that the laces don't cinch the boot tightly around the ankle. They are placed oddly above and below the ankle, so there is an uncomfortable gap at the ankle. Really cute boot in a hard to find color. Love the wavy sole and fur trim. I wear size 8.5 but sized up to 9 and not sorry. My feet are narrow, but I can lace tightly enough to get a snug fit. Recommend.

Such a nice boot but not enough support for my foot. I did not like that the tongue didn't lay inside at the top portion of the boot. Kept fiddling with it.

The are warm and very comfortable. I got tons of compliments while wearing them.

These boots were comfortable upon 1st try, but cut too narrow for my wide toe area needs. The ripple pattern soles were grippy but soles squeaked loudly. Not sure if this would go away, so for these reasons, were returned.

These are cozy. The top doesn't flip over like one of the pictures, it's a straight up top. And there's not much in the way of arch support. But warm and cozy.

These are cozy boots if you can get them on. The tongue isn't cut all the way down to the foot - it stops at the lower part of the ankle/top of the foot which makes getting the boot on a bit of a struggle to get on. There is a loop on the back of the heel meant to help you push your foot in. It's in a super awkward spot - right where the fabric would wrinkle when you are trying to shove your foot in the boot. Putting this loop in a higher spot on the back of the ankle would probably be better. With a bit of an effort (mostly standing and squirming your foot into the boot) you can get it on. Once on, they were true to size, comfortable and great in the snow, just annoying to get to that point.

Such a cute boot but beware that only the top ankle laces work. This makes boot difficult to get your foot into and impossible to adjust lower lacing to fit your foot.Not true to size

Nice looking boot, though not as comfortable as I had hoped. Warmth? After 1 hour in 30 degree weather, my toes were frozen. Definitely not cold weather boots.

These boots are comfortable so far but I was hoping they would be warmer. Wore them out in about 30 degree weather with regular socks and my toes got so cold!

Loved these boots EXCEPT for the laces. Wish they had a side zipper

I really liked the way these looked, but the sizing is just off. Based on other reviews, I ordered a half size up, since people said they ran small. They were too long in the foot, so I returned and reordered in my usual size. Unfortunately, those were tight on the toes and also way too tight in the arch. Really wanted a lighter snow boat that was warm and had more flexibility than other snow boots, but LL Bean just did not get the sizing right on these.

I need warm boots due to my bad foot circulation from chemo. As others stated in their reviews, and I should've listened, the tongue only opens part way. As a result, I had a problem getting boots on/off with wool socks on (I ordered 1/2 size up for the socks). After struggling to finally get one foot in, I could tell the fit is true to size. But the tongue is the problem. Also the rocker heel made me feel off balance AND the lacing holes are too small so lengthening and shortening laces is a real chore. Otherwise a nice boot but I'm sending back. Fix those 3 issues and I'd try again.

Had to return the boots. I have a high instep and just couldn't get my foot in. Very disappointed as I loved the look.

I really wanted to like these. They're a warm and comfortable material, and seemed like they would do well in my intended activities (winter walking, snowshoeing). Not the most traction, but not awful, and they seem compatible for microspikes if things get real icy. However. I almost wish these came in a 5.5! I'm a size 6 usually, and these were almost too big in length. Width felt ok, as I have a wide, high volume foot. And there's one design component that caught me off guard -- the lacing system. The lower laces, where the suede itself is the lace loop, are very difficult to adjust. It's like there's too much friction. Meanwhile, the upper lace loops on the ankles are so loose that you really have to hold the laces taut while tying the final knot, otherwise the boot ends up fitting too loose. Maybe this is just me being picky, but I think this boot is almost perfect for winter, if not for the lace system.

Made well and would have been a good boot but it does not work if you have a very high instep. Very difficult to get my foot into the boot since the structure does not allow you to loosen the mid-section on the lacing.

Love the look of the boot. Had to send back because I couldn't get on because of the way it was put together.

Lovely to look at and all is a quality boot but I don't wear orthotics and with regular socks, there was absolutely no sneaker padding or padding at all. I felt a hard surface. Since it's half a size larger, could that be for a heavy sock and your inserts? It has absolutely no arch.
