This is my second pair of these and I forgot how much break in was required! I wear an 8 across the board and buy my Birkenstock’s in a 38. These are the most comfortable sandals EVER once you get them broken in.

I ordered the Tabacco color but was disappointed—it's more of a nude color rather than rich brown in the photo. The Habana Oiled Leather is worth a try, but it's a bit too dark. Wish there was a color in between: just a nice rich brown. Bonus points if there was a pebbled rich brown leather as an option to nubuck or suede.

I LOVE these Birks! I had a pair of plain navy Mayari sandals, and they're great for everyday, but I wanted something a little fancier for work and summer events. The Icy Metallic Poppy is bright and cheerful, and goes with all my cute summer clothes. My feet are VERY wide with high arches, and I've suffered from plantar fasciitis in the past. The Birkenstocks can't be be beat for support, and if they're anything like my original pair, they'll last forever!

Love this style and the many color options Mayari’s come in. Love the gold! Regular fit is good for my wider foot though I don’t require a wide. Comfortable right out of the box.

I'm a normal size 8 in shoes and got the 38 like I usually do in Birkenstocks. They fit wonderfully. I love the simplicity of the smaller straps on this one and the black oiled leather is gorgeous.

I have bought the same Mayari sandal in other colors so was confident that the fit would be right. They are cute and comfortable.

Was glad to find this shoe in a narrow. I buy this style in black every couple years as I wear them so much that they start to wear.

These are great sandals and a fantastic alternative to flip-flops, which I may never go back to. I've had a number of issues with my feet over the years -- bunion surgery on both feet and a stem cell injection on one. I also wear custom orthotics in my running shoes. Shoes that slide on, and with no arch support, that require me to "work" to keep them on while walking don't work for me. I used to LIVE in flip-flops but now wear them to the beach, the pool or to yoga. I cannot walk around in them for an extended period of time. I've been hesitant to try any sandal that does not strap around my ankle as I felt it would be just like wearing flip flops. A friend showed me how Birks really mold to your feet and stay put, no flip-flopping. I ordered two pairs -- the Mayari and the Yara (with an ankle strap). To my utmost surprise, the Mayari were 100% more comfortable and fit my foot better. This is my first pair of Birkenstocks in 25 years. I wore them around the house for a few days to start the break-in process. I've been venturing out with them and walking around town. I'm still getting used to the feel (although, every time I put them on it feels like a foot massage). I know once these truly form to my feet they'll be my absolute favorite sandals to throw on. I'm glad I went for the slip-on versus an ankle strap -- makes them easy for on/off at yoga and to run the dog out for a potty break. I can definitely see myself buying another pair in a different color or material or even trying a different style. I'm SO happy these are working out. I wear a 8.5 in regular street shoes -- I bought a size 8 (39) and regular width. They fit great!

I always wear a 40 narrow in Birkenstock’s. The mayari is my favorite style since it has a toe loop to help hold your foot in the footbed.

I'm a big fan since 15+ years! They run large, I always get 1 size down. I love these new ones, much better than flip flops, very good arch support. Comfortable and cute!

I love these so much, I want them in so many other colors. I've always wanted a pair and I can't believe I waited so long to get a pair. Totally worth it. These are my first, so I'm not sure what the others are like to wear, but I love this style.

These are my favorite birkenstocks, very soft and comfortable. This is my second pair in the Miyari style, first pair in the color bronze. I wear birkenstocks for their arch support as I tend to get plantar fasciitis on my right foot, so wearing birkenstocks rather than bare feet around the house helps keep my arch supported and plantar fasciitis away.

Love my Birks!! And love Zappo's prices. Plus they often have Narrow and 2As when other sites do not.

I love these Mayari sandals! I bought a pair from another store that were Birks, but the leather and sole was way to stiff for my older not so tough anymore feet! Gave them to my granddaughter. These didn’t need any break in. Yay!

I am typically a size 8-8.5 and these fit perfectly. This is my second pair of these exact sandals and they are my favorite thing to wear in the summer.
