Birkenstock's run almost a full size too long for me. I usually wear an 8-9 in sandals, and I always wear a 38 (size 7-7.5) in Birkenstock. Once you get the size right, the Mayari fit like a glove-at least for my feet. Traditional Birkenstock's (like the Arizona style) I find too sloppy. My feet don't have the volume to fill the sandal even with the correct length. The Mayari style is perfect. I have two pair and the bed has formed to my foot and they are SO comfortable! Plus, the toe ring does not rub or bother my big toe at all. This is a great sandal!

I’m a size 41 in the Arizona, but needed a 40 in the Mayari. The 40 is a perfect fit and didn’t need to break in. Ordered on Wednesday, received Thursday and wore all day Friday. Loved the speedy delivery and perfect sandals. My next purchase will be the Boston and most likely from Zappos.

Absolutely love this shoe.
3rd pair and this is the one and only for me. Stopped a lady in the street in front of me. Asked her what sandal she was wearing. The rest is history. Hope B never discontinues this sandal!!!!

My daughter loves these sandals! They are very comfortable and she can walk in them for ever. My daughter is a 7.5 in most shoes and we order her exact size, which fits her perfectly!

I wear a 38 in the Mayari which is a size smaller than I wear in the Arizona and the Boston. Once I figured that out I found the perfect fit and I love love the comfort and style of the Mayari.

I've always heard about Birkenstocks, but for some reason have always hesitated to buy them. On a recommendation from a friend, I decided to finally try these sandals, and I'm thrilled. They are attractive and comfortable. I have tons of foot problems--metatarsalgia, plantar fasciitis, and, recently, arthritis in the big toe. These sandals appear to ease all these problems. I am looking forward to seeing if they continue to do so.

I absolutely love these shoes. Soo comfortable. I now own two pairs. They stay on my foot, they do not slip or slide and I believe they make my foot look smaller.

I usually wear a 6.5. I ordered the 36 and the 37. The 37 seemed too long for my foot. I have heard that the bed of these sandals will flatten out slightly as they wear in so I went for the 36.

I ordered a size 36, following the size chart for size 5. They were way too big and had to return them for size 35 (size chart says size 35 is for size 4-4 1/2) and that worked. Don’t know if other size 5 people can wear 35, but I couldn’t.

These have the high quality construction expected from Birkenstock. (especially compared to some much cheaper knockoffs I’ve had) The boiled leather is a little stiff, but I’ve been wearing them for short errands and they’re breaking in nicely. I usually wear an American size 7, and ordered a 38. They were way to big so I exchanged for a 37 and a have a great fit. I expect them to last for years.

The shoes were fine. If they had been actually new and not clearly used, I would have liked them. However, when I buy “new” shoes, I expect them to be new — not so worn that the previous owner’s footprint is worn into the bottom of the shoe. Obviously, I’m the returning the pair sent to me.
