Birkenstock has always given me a great shoe, and I am hard to fit with wide feet. The leather and cork softens within a few days to mold around the foot for a comfortable fit.

I love these Birkenstocks. For better or worse I have had several pairs along with puppies that chew them up. I typically wear a 6½ women's shoe. I wear a 36 in Birkenstock. 36 is often hard to find so I was happy to find these available. The description says a 36 is a 5-5½ in women's but I think that is way off. Happy shopping!

Simply the best! They fit well. I got a size down I wear 9-9.5 but bought these is the 8-8.5 based on other people reviews and they fit perfect! Simple cute and supportive!

Birkenstock has always had a great reputation ever since I was a kid and now my daughter is realizing that. These were a birthday gift and exactly what she wanted. She says she practically lives in them so I scored big. But the best thing about this whole situation was my purchase experience. This was my first time with Zappos, and it started out with a mistake. I ordered the wrong style and didn't realize it until the package arrived 3 days before her birthday. I got online with Etsy, I told them I needed to make an exchange. Come to find out, the shoes I needed were going to cost more than the original purchase, but to my surprise, Zappos waived the extra cost and did not charge me anything to make the exchange. The representative was extremely pleasant and helpful. The cherry on top is the fact that I got the shoes the very next day and had a gift to give my daughter and it was exactly what she wanted! I told the rep that if they were trying to win me over so I would continue to shop with Zappos their tactics worked! Zappos has a new customer!

Have always loved Birkenstocks (since I bought first pair ~ 20 years ago) and they keep getting more fashionable yet they never lose their comfort or ease of wear

The Birkenstock Mayari is so comfortable! I normally wear an 8 1/2 or 9 medium, depending on the shoe. I ordered a 39 and it fit perfectly. They might feel a bit stiff at first but it doesn't take more than a few hours of wear for the footbed to conform to your foot. The leather toe strap was not tight as other reviewers had mentioned and my toes are not skinny. Nice leather straps with many holes for adjustment. Love these!

This is my first pair of Birkenstocks and I'm thrilled with them! The Mayari style is just what I've been waiting for: Such a nice substantial sandal with a very comfortable footbed, but not so "chunky". I'm not sure I could wear them to Disney all day though, since I am used to my Fit Flops.

These are extremely comfortable and cute! So here's the thing, they are still Birkenstocks, so they are by no means dainty, but, with that being said, they are an attractive sandal. I wish I'd gotten them in the silver because since I bought mine I've seen two people with the silver and it looks awesome. Maybe next year I'll buy a second pair. If you're on the fence, I'd say buy them and see them in person (that's the beauty of Zappos, you can return them!). I wear a size 8 and had to return the 38 for a 39. The 39s are slightly too large (I think in a perfect world I would wear the 38.5) but they aren't so big that they look funny or feel excessively large.

I immediately loved these sandals. No break in time and even stylish for Birkenstocks. I wear them a lot.

While I had never owned a pair of Birkies, I have seen countless people wearing them all over the world. I don't like wearing sandals as I feel I don't have enough arch support and cannot wear them for very long. This is not the case with these sandals. These are now my most favorite shoes and the first ones I grab when I take the dog for a walk, going shopping or have to spend a day on my feet. When I first put them they were a little tight (even on the loosest rung) but after a few walks, they broke in to the point where it's like walking on heaven with them on. I have gone on 1-3 hour long walks with these on. I want to buy other pairs in different styles.

A great sandal...comfortable from the moment I put them on (unlike the Birkenstocks from long ago). They do run wide but that works perfectly for my feet.

Love these! Haven't had a pair of Birkenstocks since the 70's and had forgotten how comfortable they are. I wear a 6.5 US so the 37 is perfect and the fact that I could get it in a narrow was a bonus. My foot is "thin" so in a lot of shoes the straps don't touch the top of my foot and look bad- not in this case. Toe loop does not bind. Highly recommend!

These are super cute. These shoes are more lightweight than some other Birks. I ordered the same size as I wear in other Birks. They runs a tiny bit shorter in the footbed. My toes touched the raised edge which would have been annoying and rub over time. I ordered a size 40 (sizing says 9-9½). I wear a 9½. My teenage daughter who wears a 9 was more than happy to claim these cute shoes as hers.

These are the best ever. My daughter had a pair that I kept "borrowing" until she got tired of them being on my feet. So I ordered a pair. I wear a sz 7.5 and ordered a 38 and they fit great. They are a little uncomfortable at first but, after about a week and a half, I never take them off. Love them!!

These are so perfect. I put off replacing my non leather, designed Mayari which I got on sale on a discontinued website. This time, I did my research and realized they are not all leather, and I wanted the traditional footbed. I love the look of the oiled leather, and they are so comfortable. I never have the uncomfortable break in period that I read about. Out of the box, they are a dream for my feet which have always needed real support. They are so beautiful too. I normally wear a us size 7, but I find that a 37 fits me perfectly. I think its because my feet are wider, and the reason why I wear 7s is to accommodate my Flintstone feet. 38 leaves a little to much shoe in front and back for my comfort, but a 37 makes my feet look small and pretty, which is pretty amazing considering that Birkenstocks have the reputation for looking a little bulkier. Not the case with the Mayari.

These are some of the best sandals I've ever had. I've owned multiple Birkenstocks over the years and loved them all (the Boston clog, the Arizona and Granada sandals, etc), but the Mayari might be my new favorite. It stays snugly on my foot, is comfortable to wear, love that Birks are always adjustable and mold to my foot, and the color/texture of the whole shoe is just beautiful. I got them in Mocha Birkibuc, which is a medium taupe brown. Normally I get Birkenstocks in a 40 Narrow when I can (as we all know, their "Regular" shoes are typically fairly wide), but I just went with a 39 Regular in this model and they fit perfectly (yay!) There is nothing I don't like about this sandal and I would totally purchase it in other colors. Yay Mayaris!

I recently ordered 3 pairs of these for my daughters and me in stone, mocha and golden brown. All were beautiful in color and perfect in fit. They look so good our our feet--not clunky at all. I wear mine with long linen summer dresses and very casual shorts and capris. Very comfortable shoe from the very beginning. Great customer service!!

These are hands down the most comfortable summer shoes! Definitely great for days when you do lots of walking, like trips to the zoo. Stylish and comfortable, you can't beat that! And as always zappos does an amazing job of getting them to your door step by the next business day!

Love these shoes! Seriously I've worn them just about everyday since I got them. Only problem was that about the first three times I wore them the material on the sole wore off on my foot but it has stopped. There are closer to an army green/gray than what the picture looks like. I love these because they can be dressy or casual. I have worn them to work several times (I work at a bank) and they are so comfortable!

I love them. They are a little hard in the sole but I am sure that they will break in quickly. I have high arches and these are really supportive. I also have narrow feet but I had to get the regular width because narrow was not available, but they fit great anyway. I am a size 8 and the 8/8½ option is true to size.

I am so confused as to how anyone in the US considers these true to size... heed my warning. THESE RUN ABOUT 2 SIZES LARGE. My roommate has been true size 8 her whole life, and she fit in the 37 (women's 6-6.5). I had to return them because I am a size 7 and they are a full size too big despite saying they fit a 6-6.5. I am hoping the 5-5.5 fits my size 7 foot.

I love Birkenstocks for their comfort & versatility, but wanted something a bit more elegant. These Mayari Birks are it! I love them! The last Birks I had I wore for 6 years before they wore out. I'm looking forward to the next 6 years with these!
