Love these sandals. I could wear them everyday.

I love my birks! I wear these whenever I can. I take walks in them, wear them to work, to the store. I am always sad when winter comes and I have to put them away. I am flatfooted and these sandals offer such great support. These are my second pair of birks and I will always own a pair for the rest of my life.

Great sandal! I did not have to break them in at all. They look great with shorts and skinny jeans rolled up. I wear a 9-9.5 and size 40 was perfect.

Ok so i have bough/returned about 10 pairs of shoes in the last three weeks searching for a black and a brown pair of sandals/thongs. I finally found the perfect shoe! These do not require more than about 10 minutes to break them in. I have found that the cork is very hard/stiff until you wear it a few minutes and I think as your body heat warms it up, it gets nice and soft and moves more easily. That is my theory, anyway. I am a solid 40 and these were TTS. I have a wide but skinny foot. I never wear a wide, I just buy shoes with a more roomy toe box. I bought the 40 regular for that reason I had to just the buckle closes to my ankle pretty tight because of the wide/skinny foot thing i have going on but now they are perfect. I hate that the only two styles that are actually all leather are the oiled black and the oiled brown. Also, they might consider making these in the soft sole style like the Arizona and Florida.

My mom loves these Birks! I got her a pair for Mother's Day and the next week she had me order her another color.

Great women's sandal. I got them for my wife and she absolutely loves them. The fit is great and they are very comfortable. They can be dressed up or down.

My daughter loves her new shoes in the gold color. Super comfortable. Very stylish

Living in the southeastern US, we spend a lot of time in sandals and more open shoes, but in general, flip flops just aren't my thing. I've spent a lot of time trying to find a cute sandal that isn't a variation on a flop, is versatile & comfy, and (real talk)that doesn't make my feet sweat. It's a tall order! But the Mayari ticks all those boxes with ease. Over the years, I've owned 8 pairs of Birkenstocks, from Florida and Boston to Fiji and Yara, searching for the perfect Birkenstock, and the Mayari is the hands down winner. No question! I hasten to add: I am REALLY picky about what I will wear in public - love for Birks notwithstanding - and I generally have a strong dislike of anything that disregards the visual appeal for the functionality (Tevas? No thanks!). The Mayari is so easily dressed up or down, and looks boho fab with jeans, cut offs, or dresses. The tobacco leather is a great neutral, and even my sartorially picky hubs doesn't get irritated when I mix this brown with a black sundress (it's a miracle!). SIZE NOTE: I am a straight up 7B, in almost every shoe made. In Birkenstocks, I size down or my foot isn't secure - I take a 37 instead of a 38. YMMV.

Loved but needed a bigger size. Someone had told me to size down. Re-ordered in my true size.

Birkenstock are the best! My mother loves these sandals for summer. Footbed cradles her foot and lends excellent support and comfort.

This is my third pair of Birkenstocks. I love them! I think the Mayari style flatters my foot and they are comfortable all day.

Wonderful and excellent. A must have, especially if you are seeking a slightly dressier sandal and especially if you have plantar fasciitis like me. I love these shoes, and I love the color that I ordered, which was the golden brown. I do everything in my birkenstocks and wear them all the time. Birkenstock is absolutely the best shoe for foot health and comfort. Highly recommended.

Great shoes that are comfortable and can be worn in a variety of settings! Would recommend to anyone. If you normally wear a half size (i.e., a 9.5), I would size down to the 9

I had a pair of birkenstock sandals many years ago and they lasted forever. I decided to get another pair recently. They are so comfy, great quality and fast shipping with Zappos.

I'm normally always a 36 in Euro sizing and when I tried these in store they were way too large. Unfortunately I couldn't find a local store that carried 35 so I ordered here. The 35 fit perfectly. I've got small wide feet with a high arch/instep and these feel great. I've also tried the Gizeh style and these are way more comfy to me.

I never want to take these off! It took about 1.5week to break these in and during that time I had major discomfort BUT as soon as they molded to my feet I could not be without them. I slip them on at 6am and don't take them off until 10pm. I feel naked without them!!!! Love these sandals and I get so many compliments daily. I have a wide foot with very high arches. This sandal fits me perfectly. They run big. I needed a 38 although I ordered a 39 bc I wear a 8.5 shoe. I figure I'd keep them since they didn't have the color I wanted in my size.

Loving my new Birkenstock Mayari. I suggest them if you experience any low arch problems or plantar fascitis. Definitely get a narrow if you have narrow feet- I do, and mine fit perfectly. Special thanks to the Zappos associate who chatted with me to help me decide on the correct size.

Birkies are the perfect summer sandal. You can walk around all day long and not have any foot pain. These, in particular, are great because of the part that wraps around your big toe. They stay on your feet much better than other styles. They also look great with any outfit.

I ordered these in a 39N. I typically wear an 8M is other shoes. I was a little stressed because a couple of my toes slightly touched the toe "bar" at the front of the shoe and the toe ridge under my big toe was uncomfortable. They hurt at first!! I decided to commit to breaking them in, and I'm so glad I did! Started out wearing them around the house. Then outdoor dog walks. By the end of week 2 they were feeling pretty good. Now I'm into week 3 and I love them! The toe bar and ridge aren't issues at all anymore, and they really are feeling customized for my foot. Stick with them- it's worth it!!
