I love this style of Birkenstocks. My semi wide feet have more than enough room, and the straps do not hurt my high instep or squish my toes. They are ultra comfortable straight out of the box. I wanted something with a smaller strap(s) as to not overpower my small foot, and this is perfect. I can go casual with these, or dress them up. I have a few pairs in different colors now, and I’m highly impressed with them. I did have to go a size down from what I wear in other shoes, and that fit is perfect.

Love this style of Birkenstock. Can't go wrong with these.

I wear a women's 9 medium and have Franca in both 40R and 40N. My foot is wide across the ball but the regular width Franca is too big and my heel slides around unless I wear thick socks. I can't size down to the 39 because there's a 10mm difference between those two sizes and it's too short for my long big toes. I don't have narrow feet but the 40N is perfect and works better with my Egyptian-shaped foot. I like that Franca has lower-key granola vibes than the Arizona. Franca doesn't look as good/trendy as Arizona with socks but it looks better without them. My one complaint is that I have high arches and I can't loosen the top strap as much as I'd like, but they're perfectly wearable nonetheless. I wish Birkenstock would offer more narrow options in the regular footbed. A narrow Birkenstock is a regular-width normal shoe in my experience.

I've been a fan of Mayari, so decided to try the Birkenstock Franca. They are so cute and feel very comfortable. I wear a narrow shoe, so these are perfect. They have 3 different straps and buckles for adjustment. They'll be a go-to shoe for summer!

These shoes fit true to size for me. Some reviewers mentioned the leather being stiff and needing breaking in but these were comfortable for me right out of the box. I got the blue oiled leather and happy to have a non-black neutral sandal. They do look black in certain lighting but love that they will go with any outfit.

I wear Birkenstocks almost exclusively, but I need the regular width. Most of the cute styles and colors for women only come narrow. I’ve been waiting to find a pair in a denim-y blue and regular width. I love them! I also love that I can always order my size and know they’ll fit perfectly. I am a true 9 1/2 wide and 40 regular Birks are perfect.

I ordered a size larger than usual, based on the reviews that mentioned they run a little small in the toe area, and I’m happy that I did. Very comfortable fit, once I adjusted the buckles to my feet’s preference! Planning a trip to Italy very soon, and so I’m wearing these everyday, to ensure that they are really comfortable by the time we go, as these are the only shoes I plan to wear for the two week trip. They are stylish enough to wear with a dress, or can also dress down with jeans. I love my Birks and am happy that I got this particular style.

Gorgeous color, love the blue sole, and the usual Birkie comfort did not disappoint.

At > 40 this is my first pair of Birks. I am a 10.5 so I initially ordered the 41 but it was a smidge too small. The 42 seemed to fit though. The first day I got them one of my feet got blisters on the top from the strap rubbing. I tried adjusting the tightness but that did not seem to help. I continued to wear them for a bit longer each day and after about 2 weeks they have broken in quite nicely and are very comfy. I hope they last a long time!

I returned these and ordered them in a narrow, because the normal size is wider.

This is my second pair of Birkenstocks, but my first in several decades, and nothing has changed. They are still awkward-looking sandals that take some time to break in if your feet aren't accustomed to the toe ridge and deep heel cup, and they still require "seasoning" for sensitive feet because the straps are so rigid at first. BUT... they are a godsend for feet that, for too long, have been stuffed into too-tight or too-narrow shoes. If you want to give your feet the space they need to expand and be truly healthy, Birkenstocks are for you. And in the offing, you get to wear sandals/shoes that make your feet look like a Hobbit's! LOL. A word of advice: follow the brand's size guide and you'll get a perfect fit.

I am generally a 10.5 or 11. I ordered the 10-10.5 (EU 41) first but they were a smidge too small (more of a 10 than a 10.5). I ordered the 11 (EU 42) and they fit perfect. I would say they run *slightly* small but it’s pretty close to TTS. The top leather sharp on one shoe gave me a blister the first night I wore them for a ~ 2 mile stroll. I tried loosening the strap but that made it worse, not better. I *think* that over time the leather will conform to my foot shape and it will be just fine. FWIW I am 42 this is my first pair of Birks so this may be normal for the shoe type but I’m ignorant / inexperienced.

These shoes fit wonderfully but the arch support was too much for me. My daughter has a pair which I have admired and was excited to have a pair for me. However, sadly they went back. They are great shoes.

I love these shoes. Birkenstocks are my go-to. I have several foot troubles and they're the most supportive shoe. They hold up well and are so cute!

I have an average width foot, so after reading reviews I ordered a narrow since Birkies run soooo wide. Sad to say they were too narrow and am ordering the regular width. The length was fine. I have plantar fasciitis and the firm footbed felt wonderful. I usually wear Chaco sandals because of their pronounced arch support, but these Birkies felt just as good. A firm arch support keeps your foot from pronating much and I believe and that is is why firmer is better for plantar fasciitis.

I love these Birkenstock’s. They are a little lighter than the oiled brown leather in the photo. I didn’t mind because I actually like the color better, but if you want the ones pictured I would not order these.

These were narrow, but still fit. I knew this when I ordered them so I do have the buckles set on last hole. I love them.

These are really beautiful sandals. The problem I had was that I have very narrow feet. I ordered the narrow but it was still too wide. I also thought it ran a little long.

I must be in between sizes for Birkenstock sandals. If it feels good in the foot bed, my toes are hitting the edge. If my toes are not hitting the edge, the arch doesn't hit me right Good looking sandal, just not for my foot.

I am so disappointed. I have worn Birkenstocks for years, always the narrow width because that's primarily what stores offer. But compared to my other size 42 narrow Birks, these are visibly narrower and not comfortable.

I have worn Birkenstocks for years and for some reason lately they just don't fit. Not sure if sizes are a tiny bit larger then before or the leather is of less quality.
