Very surprising shoe. At first the leather was stiff and I thought this is a no go, but after a relatively short time it started to soften. Adjusting the straps is integral in this. I like that all three are adjustable for a narrow foot. The back strap being high in the arch is great to keep the shoe situated properly. I love the support in these, really helps.

After ordering a few Birkenstocks, I've noticed they run a little big. Other than that these shoes are perfect. They were a Mother's Day gift for my mom and she loved them!

The Franca fits perfect; plus, the blue leather is a fun and snazzy addition! I have really wide feet and the regular width in my usual Birkenstock size fit great.

At first the shoe feels a little stiff but within a day of wearing, it softens and forms to your foot. Great shoe.

Love this sandal and I am a big fan of Birkenstock. Zappos did not have my size in stock but kindly notified me when it was available. Very attractive and comfortable shoe.

Consistent with other Birkenstocks

Birkenstock’s never really disappoint, but I LOVE the tobacco oiled leather! Excellent quality, as expected.

Love at first sight! I saw these and loved the strapy, feminine look. I love my Arizonas, but these are a bit dressier and lighter looking so I took a chance. The deep dark blue is gorgeous and as someone else said, it won’t get mistaken for black. While the Arizona soft footbed, that only came in narrow, did comfortably accommodate my regular width, I decided to try the regular width in the Francas, which are not the soft footbed, since I had the option. I found it to be perfect and actually more comfortable than the narrow soft footbed, which I also like. Actually oddly enough, other than just breaking in the initially stiff oiled leather, I didn’t even have to break these in. Be aware that the very top strap is located much higher on the top of the instep than the Arizonas. This is both good and bad. It really helps to keep the shoe on and in place when I walk, but could be bothersome at first when you are not used to it and the leather is still stiff. I have a very high instep and so I noticed it right away and had to adjust the strap to the largest setting until the strap softened up. I wasn’t sure if it was going to work for me, but the rest of the shoe was so perfect I decided to keep them and see if that strap would loosen a bit. I put bandaids under the strap for the first couple of days of wear. Very quickly the leather softened and I no longer had to wear the band aids. I now have worn them for a month and The straps have softened enough and have conformed to my feet enough that I was able to move the strap one hole tighter and now it fits like a glove and feels quite secure on my feet even after standing and walk king in them for an 8 hour day. I love these shoes, and now my poor beloved Arizonas are being ignored. Oops.

I bought these to replace my well worn Mayari Birks which I love. I did need to adjust the straps to get them to be just right for me. I would say they are true to width but maybe a bit on the wide side. They do have a narrow width available. I love the navy blue leather. The color is a true navy and a great alternative to other neutral colors. Birkenstocks are the only shoes that give me the support I need after foot surgery and I was happy to see this style and color combo.

I have been waiting for this style of shoe to come back. So I’m delighted to see it and purchase it.

Nice shoe. Realized I just don't like the oiled black. Love oiled brown. Personal taste. (Not as much support as Arizona.)

Love my Birkenstocks and these are probably my 4th to 5th pair in my life. I have four stars instead of five because a year after purchasing, the soles are quite worn. For $130 they should last longer than a year.

Gorgeous new color! Normally wear the Florida and just didn’t care for this style on my foot.

These fit great and the footbed felt incredible. I didn't care for the style as much as I thought I would. I returned them and got a pair or the Mayari instead.

I like the style and have this sandal in silver. The oiled leather is very stiff and I need to soften it before I wear theses for any length of time. Also if you wear a narrow get the medium width.
