It took me a while to get used to them but once broken in they are good. One thing that I especially like about them is that the outsole does not hold mud and I work in a very muddy environment. Overall this a great boot.

True to size as described. Very well made! Composite toe creates some discomfort, but I am not used to this feature.

I'm sure the boots are fine but I need a wider with I wish there would be a boot maker out there that would listen up and take note I'm glad to see they're making bigger with and safety toes but unfortunately I have not found... either I have to go way too long to accommodate the width of my foot the boots were little too narrow for the safety cap my small toe was not covered by the boot I went a little bit longer and length to accommodate the width of the box of the shoe unfortunately some of my toes got covered and it was still too narrow

Ranked third in 7 boots I tried. Excellent apparent build quality, and overall fit my foot very well. The insole is a negative as it seemed to be delaminating and bunched up when inserting or removing my foot. I tried my own insole in the boot but it was no longer as comfortable as other boots I tried, so I passed. If it wasn't for the insole, this could have been my top choice.

I added a steel insole for better arch support as well as orthofeet insoles for greater comfort. All together, as good as it gets for being on my feet 10 hours a day. Unfortunately, Zappoos has no Amazon approved work shoes in my size, so I had to pay the full price for these shoes.

Really, really love the fit and the width of the boots. They are very comfortable.

Good boots so far. This brand of boots tends to wear out the arc support quickly..but for warmth and style it’s great.

The boots are very roomy and this will come in handy when the winter comes and I have to wear extra socks. The overall style and finish is very nice and they look to be maintenance free. All what I expected.

I usually wear size 13 in sneakers but these fit well with size 12. I've only wore them a couple days so far but they are very comfortable and seem very sturdy.

I am very pleased with the quality the fit and comfort of the Dunham 8000 steel toe work boots I've long searched for the proper fitting work boot and with the Dunham 8000 my search is over I am very pleased. Thank you

Let me preface this by saying that I wear US women's size 7.5 EEE and have high arches with wide heels, so even a men's size 7 wasn't going to be a perfect fit. That said, I'm used to buying a half size up to avoid pinching, and with reinforced toes it's nice to have that extra room. That said, men's size 7 is still a bit long for my feet. I hope you'll consider offering smaller sizes in the 4E width in the future, because women need extra wide boots too!

Fit and size good, but insole is a bit skimpy. Will upgrade. Have been happy with Dunham boots before, but long ago when they were actually made in U.S. Priced later at the Rockport site and about $10 cheaper with free shipping. Feel a bit taken here. Will not do business at this site again.

The boots have a bit of extra room in the toe compared with the same boot but not the "Safety" model. They wear well. The tread pattern on the soles and heels picks up loose gravel. Toe box is a nice touch -- gives extra height to the toe. They grip well on dry, wet, oily surfaces, snow, but not ice. The ankle support is excellent. What would make these boots perfect would be a loop on the back to pull them on. Comfortable to wear all day. The top two eyelets are actually dual purpose and can be through laced or hooked for speedy on/off. They wear well. I walk 5-8 miles per day on a mixture of asphalt pavement and gravel surfaces. The toe box doesn't offer crush or cut protection, but you can't expect much from a non-steel toe. The waterproofing is good until the water gets above the gap in the tongue, then the waterproofing is a bit of a curse because they won't dry out when they're on your feet.

I thought these would be nearly the same as the brown safety toe Dunham 8000 boots. They are significantly different. First: there appears to be a black rubberized textured coating applied over the outside of the boot. The texture of the coating is relatively poor quality. By contrast the brown Dunham 8000 boots do not have this, and honestly the look and feel of the black boots is not as good. Second, these boots are slightly longer than the brown ones in size 9 width 6E -- nothing an extra pair of socks won't fix. They are comfortable, and I'm assuming the steel toe will offer significant protection to my toes. It remains to be seen whether the poorly applied rubber coating will peel off with wear. The soles and heels definitely collect small bits of gravel which is a hazard to floor surfaces inside of buildings.
