I bought these for my son. He wore them right out of the box, no breaking in needed. He has several pairs of Rockport shoes. The sizing is consistent for this brand which makes it easy to order Rockport shoes online.

I've been wearing Rockport's since the 80's and the great quality hasn't changed, I'm flat footed so I have to wear good quality shoes that are comfortable, durable and stylish and the Rockport brand all.

They are light and comfy, more like a heavy duty sneaker than a boot. These are well made and should hold up. There is one thing, they put an eyelet instead of a hook on the top? I just lace up to the hook, works fine.

Comfortable day one. Street shoe size fit accurate even with heavyweight sox. Sole less aggressive than typical trail running shoe. Suitable for in-town everyday wear.
