I wanted to LOVE these, but everything about them felt stiff to me, down to the heel lift that clacked when I walked on my wooden floor. The size was perfect. They just weren't truly comfortable right out of the box. Sadly, they are going back.

The beautiful styling and excellent fit I have come to expect from all Eileen Fisher shoes and boots. This boot was comfortable from the first wearing which included a 5 1/2 hour drive to MA. In addition, I received many compliments on these boots. Expensive, but money well spent.

I’m a US8 and my feet are a tiny bit on the wide side. I bought these boots in desperation a few days before a 2 week trip to Japan in December where I knew I’d be walking 15k steps or more per day. I wanted to be stylish and comfortable. I wore these with a uniform of wide cropped pants and long wool socks (from Bombas) and they have served me amazingly well for the entire trip. I brought another pair of shoes for emergencies and I haven’t had to wear them once. No blisters and no aching feet. I don’t associate Eileen Fisher with footwear at all, so I didn’t have high hopes for these boots. However they felt good and looked great from the moment I put them on and that wasn’t the case with other boots I tried that were more than double the price. Everyone’s feet are different but these worked beautifully for mine.

I ordered my usual size and they fit perfect. They are very comfortable, and not heavy at all. They also look amazing. The zipper on the inside makes it easy to put on/take off.

These boots are comfortable and stylish. They’re sleeker and more stylish than most combat boots. I had to order up by 1/2 a size for thicker socks. I purchased these on sale for use next fall and winter. I found them to be comfortable and grippy enough for winter wear. They’re a little bit edgy, but still sophisticated enough for wearing to most places. Nice find from Eileen Fisher.

Not worth the money. Leather is cheap. High arches like mine did not even fit in the boot. Length is short as well. Style is great.
