The 8.5 Regular ran larger than all my previously purchased Sketchers (same size) that are several years old. Next time I will order a half size smaller.

great for walking

Unfortunately i had to send these back. they were too big. i am normally a size 6 and so i bought a size 6. i would suggest anyone to order a size smaller than what they are. was so looking forward to wearing them as well. take note that if they are too big or too small you cannot take them to a skechers retailer, you have to post back to Skechers online, which to be fair was not a hassle i thought it would be.

Love the color and cushion . Surprised by the fit. It's hard to find size 10.5 and it was still a lil big, they flip off my feet, even with socks on. Maybe I will try a 10.

I have wide feet I usually wear a 6 1/2 to 7 wide. My last Skechers were a 6 1/2 wide so I ordered it again they fit perfect. So comfortable from the minute I put them on! Ordered them in taupe great color for the summer and fall, I already have a black pair.

These are the third pair I have purchased. They look good and are very comfortable.

I bought a size 10.5 so I didn't have to wear socks. That didn't happen, they fit more like an 11 or more. The shoes just flopped around. I bought them to wear on vacation but since they didn't fit and I didn't have time to reorder I didn't get to wear them. I'm hoping that I can wear them with socks this winter. I have been wearing sketchers for several years and I will continue to wear them but I won't order online anymore

Excellent product. Washable so can be worn wherever.

walking. seem not to wear for a long time.

This is a great staple walking shoe to keep handy. i slip it on for dog walking, heading out quickly to the store. also very comfortable for riding bicycle downtown (short 5 mile trip). Fits nicely, foot doesn't slide around and i think these look better than just sneakers. plus don't have to worry about laces tying/untying. these also breathe so feet feel like they stay cooler. love this style. haven't tried washing them yet (but they are washable, air dry). fits true to size for me - usually wear 6 or 6.5 depending on shoe manufactuer - i ordered a 6 in these, since don't like extra room in this style of shoe, and they fit perfectly.

The walker has become my everyday shoe.

Comfort is my priority

I have been looking for a good comfortable shoe for my painful feet. I believe this shoes are it, but they do run big

I've worn Skechers for many years, always either 7.5 or 8. I ordered an 8 and it feels fine except in the heel area, where my foot slips back and forth. If I'd gotten a 7.5 it would've been too tight at the toe. But, I love the simplicity of the design, memory foam, and the very breathable fabric so I'm using an insole to take up extra room at the heel.

Could be more stylish.

A few months ago I bought the GoRun Pure which I am currently using as my walking workout shoe and thought I'd like to try the GoWalk style, so I purchased a pair. I always wear a 7.5 medium, and that is what I bought. Immediately, I noticed that these shoes were narrower than the other three pairs of Skechers I currently own. I also felt that they were a bit short as well. I couldn't get into them with my cushioned athletic socks at all. I then changed to thinner socks and the fit was still a bit tight everywhere except the heel. The heel is not snug, but okay. For that reason, I don't think a wide width would work for me -- the heel would likely slip off. I'm thinking I have to send these back and try a half size bigger and see if that will solve the problem. (I wonder if a lace-up version of the GoWalk 5 would fit better?) As for cushioning and arch support, I do feel that the cushioning is far better than the cushioning in any other brand of walking shoes I've tried over the years. However, the cushioning in the GoWalk 5 is not as good as the cushioning in the GoRun Pure shoes. One advantage is that the arch support is slightly better in the GoWalk 5. It's not great, but better. Also, the insole is not removable, so adding an insole for heel pain or arch support may not work, especially since the shoes tend to be on the narrow/short side as it is. My final concern is that my big toes are likely to put holes through the mesh upper in no time. I wish they would consider putting some extra reinforcement in the toe area, or at least having the toe cap cover more for the front of the shoe. Since I was not able to take these on a long walk outside, I can't say for sure how these will feel after a 3-mile workout on concrete, but I suspect I could only use them for shorter walking workouts. The fact that they are washable is very appealing, but if the sizing isn't right, that won't matter.
