I really want to like these shoes but… I ordered my usual shoe size 6 and feel like I should have ordered a size smaller. You need to get the fit just right so they move with your foot otherwise they are very uncomfortable and cause rubbing. My feet also didn’t respond well to the sole material, felt like I had blisters on the bottom of my feet while wearing them but I didn’t. Ended up taking them off and wearing my Birkenstocks.

I so wanted to be able to keep these. The strap was hard to adjust and didn't hold my foot in proper placement. My heel kept sliding to the built up heel area on the shoe causing pain.

Excellent. After switching to natural, foot-shaped zero-drop shoes several years ago, this is my first pair of sandals. Just got them and wore them around the house, but very pleased. Had several pairs of Chacos (including the shoes) years ago to heel plantar fasciitis caused by dropped arches and poor fitting shoes. They were very helpful in reestablishing my arch so I could embrace barefoot walking and then barefoot style shoes. They were so heavy, though, and the straps rubbed badly and were slow to dry once wet, the footbed irritated my soles, and the arch hurt once my feet reestablished their natural arch. I've only worn these a few minutes, so I'm curious how the straps will do when wet. The width is great for my wide feet. Love that the whole footbed is wider than most shoes (including other zero-drop shoes) so my whole foot will be protected. The strap is *much* easier to adjust than Chacos and easy to get in and out of. No arch support, of course, but that's the point -- they let your feet be feet! I usually wear a 6.5 (and that's the right size in Xero shoes); I ordered a 6 in these sandals because I have short toes and they're perfect.

I am a half-size, and these only come in full sizes, so I ordered a half-size down. They are still quite long, and I wish I could try 1½ sizes down to see if that would be a better fit or too small. Other than that, these are extremely comfortable, and probably my favorite running shoes ever. On my first run, I didn't have the straps cinched up tight enough, so the sandal moved under my feet as I ran and I got blisters. I wonder if the slightly-too-large fit contributed to this problem. On my second run with them, I made sure the back strap was quite tight, and I avoided the blisters. I love the free feeling of running in sandals! And in the hottest summer ever, it's great to not have to wear shoes.

These barefoot sandals are great. You have to adjust them properly so your foot doesn’t slide around in them (watch the video on their website). They’re more finicky than Chacos but once you have them fitted, they’re super comfy. They are my go-to summer shoe.

I ordered two pairs of Xeros- both in women’s size 11. This pair had a longer footbed and had very long straps. The other pair of women’s size 11 Xero’s fit perfectly.
