I usually buy a size 6. I purchased a size 6 in this Pier Lite Glitz, both black and taupe. It feels long in the toe - like a half size larger. Everything else is fine, it's just too long. I trip over imaginary things when my shoes are too big. Otherwise, the width is fine for my foot - which I consider a normal width. The heel gives this shoe a little height which makes it feel a bit fancier than just a sneaker. It's super comfy. I could feel the top edge/rim of the shoe hit my ankle bone every now and then, like it was a tad tall, but an insole would fix that issue. The glitzy part is very fun and the sparkle parts are little tiny dots and slightly larger bars that seem attached very well. Haven't had any fall off yet, but haven't put a lot of miles on them yet. Arch support is average and for me it's fine. I don't have plantar fasciitis so I can't vouch for that level of comfort. The cushion is nice and my feet aren't achy at the end of the day. The toe box is a bit on the low side - meaning the height between the inner sole and the inner top where it would rub on the top of your toes. I didn't get any blisters on my problem spots, so even tho it was low clearance, it wasn't an issue. I have a high instep, and these are very comfy. There isn't as much stretch as you'd think from the photo - so there's more support from the shoe than expected. I wanted to return for a smaller size, but there's no 5.5 sizes available.

Skechers shoes are not easy to find in size. Sometimes they are one size, sometimes half the size I normally wear.

Everything fit just fine until you get the the toes. It's like they added a 1/2 inch in front of the toe area. It's bizarre. I tried to like these, as the sparkle (very fun!) and the color (goes with everything) is great! The arch support is nice. The sole's are a bit stiff, but it's probably because I'm used to running around in the super-light-weight Skechers with zero support. I wanted a dressier shoe, and these fit the bill, they just didn't fit right. I wear a 6 in flats, and I ordered the 6. There's nothing smaller left in stock, so I couldn't try the 5.5. Bummer.
