Great Shoes. I purchased the wide size. I have wide feet in the toe box

Bought a pair of these recently and they are top tier. Look top notch in any occasion. Heel looks to wear out quickly so may be wise to proactively get a very thin piece of rubber added.

These are beautifully made shoes of fine leather, very attractive. I took them with me for al long cruise and they were perfect for both casual nights and yet dressy enough to wear with a sport coat on elegant nights dining.

Excellent quality shoes, comfort in mind design and impeccable workmanship.

Brown pair that I received has excellent leather very smooth and soft. Stitches are clean and straight. Details on soles and heels are on point, truly a great bit loafer that's made just as good if not better than other brands. Great value, interesting to me is the shoe bag is also made in Italy and the loafers have a metal shank (magnetic) inside for great support. Ordered my true size and they fit great, very comfortable.

I've owned multiple pairs of loafers and these are by far the best. The quality of the leather is amazing, and they are an extremely comfortable shoe. Will definitely be purchasing another pair

Again, the shoes are great and excellent quality, I also wear Gucci shoes and this Verona are at the same level of comfort and looks.

These shoes are terrific. They look good, fit great (and I'm hard to fit 14D), and the leather is soft and comfortable.

I've worn A-E's for 40 years. Had my eye on these loafers for a few seasons but was reluctant to order because I was unsure of the size. I normally wear 11B in slip-ons but I decided to trust the size recommendations and order the 101/2C. Perfect fit. Like a glove. Most comfortable slip-in's I've ever had. I'll be ordering more pairs in different colors.

Fit like a glove, very comfortable, no slip in the heel. Get lots of positive comments.

I ordered the Verona II Italian loafer in brown. Allen Edmonds quality is outstanding. I originally ordered size 10 EEE, however, I had to return them as the shoes ran small. I reordered the shoes in size 11 EEE and they fit perfectly. I suggest that when ordering, order one full size up as the shoe runs small.

The Allen Edmond size predictor was very accurate, the size 9 fit me perfectly despite ordering online. The leather feels above average, and the shoe is comfortable with or without socks. There's a slight "jingle" sound as you walk from the horse bit but it's not loud enough to draw attention on a crowded street. Got lots of compliments the first day out with these!

I bought a pair of brown Verona II. I love them. They are comfortable for regular wear, and in my experience have no issues with excessive wrinkling; they still look great. Two things: 1. They are Italian bit loafers, and their construction reflects that. The leather is great at this price, as is the detailing. But the soles are thinner, as they should be in an Italian loafer. Thinner soles means more comfort and, in my experience, more "grip" on the ground. They will likely wear out faster than the Randolph, for example, which has a much thicker and Goodyear-welted sole. But they are a different shoe than the Randolph, and the Grayson, and the Acheson, and the Patriot, etc., etc. Again the Verona II is an Italian loafer. If you don't like Italian loafers, or their construction, perhaps consider looking more closely at another AE loafer as a better option. 2. These run narrow. In my experience they are significantly narrower, and have a snugger fit, than any of the loafers mentioned in the paragraph above - with Grayson perhaps being the closest comparator. Your results may vary, and I definitely recommend trying before buying. The only oddity on these is the black dots, which are painted black to create faux stitching painted on the soles - in addition to the actual stitches. I could've done without the black dots, but it's not enough to dim my view if the shoe. I am hopeful this review meets the new AE review "guidelines." In strip-mall-discount-shoe-outlet fashion, indeed true to its roots, the new management appears to be increasingly censoring customer feedback -- and as a result, appears to be publishing less reviews. In any event, the Verona II is a fantastic show

Lovely shoe with exceptional quality and build. I read numerous reviews saying how small these fit both length and width. This is simply not true. I was measured and sized at an 11 E. Due to the reviews I ordered an 11.5 D, 11 EEE, and 10.5 EEE. None of these fit they were all far to big. Ended up being an 11 D which fits nicely. The shoe is snug but it is a loafer so snug is better as there is nothing holding your foot in other than the shoe itself. I don't recommend ordering a size larger or size wider. I would order your exact size and if your foot is wider than a D I would still recommend the D as the EEE is extremely wide even for those with relatively wide feet.

I've been wearing this shoe (brown and black) for 10+ years. They're made incredible well, comfortable from day 1, and look fantastic. They run a bit narrow, but I have thin feet so they're a perfect fit. I sincerely hope AE continues to make them for as long as I'm alive. I wear them 5 days a week and don't plan to ever change. Incredible shoe!

My closet is full of, Ferragamos Ralph Lauren and RL Purple label shoes and these in caramel are my favorite shoes by far, on my second pair after resoling the first a few times.

Have two pairs (black and walnut) and have since closed 3x my typical volume. Looking forward to being a titan of industry. Receive frequent compliments on my deal sleds.

Only problem right shoe tighter on top of instep probably have it stretched
