The fabric above the ankle is not stiff enough. Occasionally it collapses when trying to slip foot in. You could also eliminate the fabric hook.

I bought these for "house shoes"only wearing them inside because walking barefoot has started to hurt my 60+ year old feet. However, they are sooo comfortable and sooo easy to slip on, I'm going to buy another pair for wearing on errands or going out. Great arch support and very comfortable! Excellent shoes!

These Skechers are really nice looking and seem to be well made. A lot of times shoes that are supposed to be slip on, don't actually work as intended I usually have to use my shoe horn. However, the Skechers are true to their name and the heels don't turn down and are easily slipped on. Once on the shoes fit snug like they should and are quite comfortable.

The ease and quickness of getting in and out of these shoes make them a real winner. I wish they were available in narrow. I would buy two more pair right now if they came in narrow.

This pair I use for casual events. It is the most comfortable shoe I've worn. I bought a pair of light brown ones to use and more 'formal' events like Church and such. I have a harder time 'slipping' them on because I can't get my feet to line up when standing, but I sit down, get my toes in the shoe then ''step" into it without further issues. Just that little bit which doesn't put much strain on my knees and ankles and the heel doesn't roll in, my poor, beleaguered index finger appreciates that wonderful heel. A wonderful shoe, makes me wish I had enough money to get more of these wonders. I may get one more, if the burgundy shoes ever come in wide.

I purchased these shoes for my husband who recently underwent heart surgery and needed slip-in/on shoes because he couldn't bend over to tie the shoes he owned. These fit the bill and he has been very happy with them.

I bought these for my dad who is 90
years old. He spends most of his time in a wheel chair so he needed something he could easily slip on himself. It took a little bit of practice but he has the hang of it now. its nice that he doesn't have to deal with shoe laces.

I bought these to replace a 20 year old pair of boat shoes that were wearing out. Wanted something easy to put on and take off. I looked around and found Skechers made such a shoe. I've had great luck with Skechers, and this purchase was no exception. The shoes are just as advertised, easy to put on. They're far more comfortable than I was expecting, good looking, and are my go-to shoe for everyday wear.

Super comfortable… BUT… a couple things that may be important to others considering these. You can’t remove the insert and put in orthotics or better inserts. The current insert is glued in, which makes sense as the current insert allows your foot to slide in effortlessly, hence Slip In.
That brings me to my second point. These shoes run a little large so you may want to get a half-size or possibly even a full size smaller. If you don’t, your foot will easily slide in this shoe due I suppose to the glued-in insert.
Lastly, if you’re someone who walks on the outside of your foot, like I do, there’s very little support out there, as the extremely comfortable mesh material that the shoe’s constructed from wraps around and offers little support.
I’ve worn them one day and wouldn’t want to get on the treadmill or long walk with them. I wore them to the store and running some errands and they were just fine… super comfortable. If you’re wondering, because of the insert and heel construction, they really DO slip-on effortlessly.

I am in a job where I am at a client site training software and have to stand all day, don't get to sit. These are the FIRST Skechers I've tried that have enough padding and arch support to get you thru the day. The sole is soft but not too spongy either and overall the shoe is very comfortable. I've tried other Skechers shoes and they were all too firm, not enough padding, not enough arch, etc etc etc . Good looking enough for office environments, could use more colors but that's my only complaint. I bought a pair in each color. The slip in is a nice feature also
