It’s not as ugly as it looks, besides, it’s a work shoe . It is completely slip resistant and extraordinarily lightweight. Feels much like a running shoe, yet has a beautiful flex while walking. The tongue of the shoe is attached so, no fuss with adjusting. Decent loop on the back to slip your finger into for pulling, not tiny like some. It is easy to wear without the common aches from new and/or heavy weighted shoes. I burn through shoes. I’m excited about these. I did up my size a half, and went wide, it looks narrow and it is. It does flex very well. I’ll end this note by saying I’m very impressed by this shoe and hope they they can continue to make more variety.

Loved the shoes!! I am an Amazon delivery driver. They kept my feet dry even the day it poured and flooding everywhere. Sadly I had to return them because it kept rubbing and irritating my heel with the hard rubber in the back.

First day wearing them but so far these are pretty dang comfy. It has a attached "lip" that doesn't shift to the left or right when moving.

Got a size 8. They feel and look great on and off my feet. Plenty of compliments and very comfortable.

Great fit, great cushion and support. The tongue is stitched so that you don’t have to worry about slippage, you can literally pull the loop on the back with one finger like a slipper. I’m not sure if it was part of the design but the laces have nice grooves in them and seldomly seem to come untied.

This shoe is TRUE TO SIZE. I usually buy shoes 1/2 size up from what I wear. I'm a 9 1/2. I order a 10 and things are usually just fine. Not this time. Stick with your normal shoe size.

I like that the Carhartt logo flows in the dark. And they're pretty easy to slip on while tied. Took a few days to break in, though (rubbed against back of ankle).

Absolutely perfect fit. When you tighten the strings double knot, and it becomes a slip on shoe. The Carhartt letters glow in the dark. Totally waterproof from Maine. I will definitely buy more of these for my delivery job. Support is great for my flat feet.

The fit and size for me were fine. Except your Achilles tendon will be shredded especially if you tie the laces tightly. After a month I think either I got used to it or the shoes stopped hurting my heels. But besides that I like these shoes, now they’re comfortable.

It felt true to size and I had ordered a size up as suggested. Look forward to seeing how the correct size fits.
