After going through 3 or 4 pairs of the windoc moc steel toe, these are an improvement with a little lighter carbon safety toe. I sometimes miss the heel pull tab, but use a shoe horn. Nice not to tie shoes, and if working in very dirty environments no extra dirt trapping laces, very clean. I think the soles tread may be better wearing, longer lasting than the windoc which I would wear through and then get wet feet in rain. I use them in my propane bbq tank delivery job where I carry 2 35 lb tanks over a hundred times a day. They are good well made shoes I have had these 6 mo. so far and no issues, I use a Danner DXT insole though that has a plastic arch support and just throw the ones that come with them out.

I needed a shoe that would deflect sparks from my grinder. Size is perfect but I needed a wide but they work. No hot foot.

I bought these to replace some waterproof jungle mocs that had started to leak. My usual size fit well but they were so heavy I decided to return them and look for something lighter.

This is a great idea, but. I typically wear Merrell footwear like the Jungle Moc. When I saw this work shoe I was pretty excited. Ultimately, like many safety toe shoes there is not enough room for your toes under the toe protection. I fit most Merrell shoes well, but this one with the safety toe is not wide enough at the toe area, the side of my toes rub on the safety toe. They hurt after an hour or so. Unfortunately they will not "wear in" like suede or leather because the composite toe is a hard material. I got them for half price so it was not a big loss experiment.

I don't normally buy mocs, but Merrel has always been the one of the most comfortable shoes I wear. I was somewhat disappointed by the fit of these shoes. They are very loose but are not too bad if I wear heavy socks. I am unable to return them because I wore them several days. I guess this is a lesson that I need to stick to lace up shoes from now on.

Very uncomfortable. Toebox too narrow. Weird shape. Feet float and are crushed up against safety toe.

And I mean sturdy. These definitely protect my feet at work! I've gotten compliments on the look of these, and they make me a bit taller. They can be pretty uncomfortable after a long day, like heels; very little give.

Would have liked to have given them 5 stars; the left shoe fit just fine, but the right foot did not. Can't wear the right shoe for more than 5 minutes. The shoes themselves are top notch; well made, good looking and simply a very nice shoe. But none of that matters when one of the shoes does not fit like it should. In this case size does matter.I wear 13 wides and love Merrels because they usually fit so well and they slip on and off well. This was my first and last pair of Moc Carbon Fiber shoes.

Too heavy. Prefer regular Moab Moc. I thought I was buying regular Moab Moc.

Surprised they came with a huge Merrell label on top. I've bought their shoes for years and I don't like to advertise for free
