The outsole is way too heavy for me. This is in comparison with the Haflinger and Giesswein brand I am wearing.
I'd also recommend:

Really bummed to send this back. Loved the color, the fit. BUT, the material used for the sole stinks. As in smells, of petroleum. Set it in the sun to offgas for several days, but they still stink.

I own another pair of the Taos slip on and I love them, but they are a bit heavy. These are so light and truly a great slipper! They aren’t something I’d wear outside, as the sole is not very sturdy, more like a foamy sole.

This is just what I was looking for. I have hardwood floors so need a bit of a substantial sole, but I don't like to clomp around when I get up earlier than my family. My current slippers are Toni Pons and are adorable, but the sole is really sturdy and I can't sneak around in them in the early morning. Also, I love this turquoise color even better than how it appeared online! I thought it might be too bright and bold a turquoise, but in person it turns out to be a heathered, muted shade. Perfect!

At first try on I felt these might be too big but after wearing around the house I fell in Love. Comfortable, Toasty, and easy to wear…a Great everyday shoe.

The size and fit is wonderful on these slippers. If you know Taos sneakers, you know the cradle feel of the shoe cushioning your heel. Every step reminds you that you made the right choice in purchasing these slippers. Another added plus, these slippers were over $100 on the Taos website but only $40 on Zappos.com.

I ordered one European Size smaller & they fit!!
They have the SAME cork insole with a little padding as my Taos Luckie Sandals (Same Size).
The insole has some arch support and enough padding under the ball of my foot.
I needed a Winter slipper that I can leave next to my bed.
My Podiatrist doesn't want me to go barefoot because of Morton's Neuroma.
These fit well without having to add anything.
I also have Stegman Clogs (the "American" Fit vs European):
Except I need to use a gel pad as I don't line up well on Left Foot with ridge in Metatarsal area.
These Taos Wooled Clogs / Slippers don't have a sturdy enough Outsole to go to the mailbox.
Turns out on the Taos web site I saw that they are meant for Indoor Use only.
The sole is very thin and sort of ?? attached (glued on) to the Wool.
They are PERFECT for what I need after a LONG search :) :)
I'd also recommend:
Keen Clogs, Ahnu, Altra, Topo, Vionic, Chaco, SAS,

These were a size too big for me. I LOVED the color. Nice lightweight shoe. But they were just not comfortable for me. First time trying a Taos shoe. Will send them back.

I loved these slippers. They felt great on my sore diabetic, arthritic, feet. However, as much as I left them to air out, they retained a strong chemical smell that I couldn't abide. This makes me so sad.

Had to return these. The footbed is made of a material that feels like rubber, so it's very uncomfortable if wearing them with bare feet. It feels almost sticky...gross. I typically wear Haflingers or Birkenstock slippers, and a wool footbed is MUCH more comfortable! Also, these seemed to run about a half size big. I would have kept if size was the only issue, but the footbed was a no-go.

Cute, but way larger than the Woolery shoes.

The size was not as wide as I needed it to be at the top closest to the back, but are wide enough towards the toes. My feet are pretty wide, though. But they look and feel sturdy and the arch support is good for a shoe like this. Mine had a couple of small dark spots on the insole of one of the shoes, which... I don't know if someone had them before I got them?
