Man, it's a real bummer that Vans hasn't evolved to accommodate wide widths after all these years. Back in the '70s, Vans were the go-to kicks for surfers and skaters like me, especially the iconic mono style and classic wino slip-ons that epitomized the Southern California lifestyle, well into the 1980s. That timeless wino style and grippy sole were unbeatable. But as times have changed and people's needs evolved, it's surprising that they haven't expanded their sizing options to include those of us with wider feet. It feels like they're missing out on a whole segment of loyal customers who still love the brand but can't comfortably wear their shoes. Vans, it's time to ride the wave of inclusivity and make some changes!

I love vans and their styles however this last delivery was a little less than what I am used too. It's unfortunate because while it isn't major enough to do a full return it's enough to alter my opinion of vans a a whole.

As the pictures show, the heel portion of the sole became completely detached -- after only 2 months. Customer service just shrugged. Horrible.

I bought a pair of the Vans Old Skool shoes awhile back in wide and they are 10/10, but the slip ons in wide don't seem wide at all. They pinch my toes, they are uncomfortable, and the sizing is off. The old skools fit perfect at size 10. The slip ons are tight in the toe box at size 10 and baggy at the heel. Not a fan.

Ugh! As much as I love the style and comfort of the shoe and the fact that it comes in a wide width, I can't give it a higher review. I wore the shoe for the first time today and my son slight dirtied a tiny section (not much bigger than the head of a pin) . No biggie, I'll clean it with a little soapy water and a toothbrush, as instructed and done so with other Vans shoes. To my surprise and disappointment, the black checkered portion of the material bled and faded...all after only one day of wearing the shoe!! Unfortunately, I don't think I would recommend this "color" because of the inability to clean the shoe without damaging it.

I bought wide fit, they were medium width at best. I bout a 1/2 size larger and they were not large enough. Very disappointed.

I've been wearing vans since middle school, I'm 29 now. My only complaint is that they hurt my pinky toe so much I can't wear them anymore finally. Please make them in a wide in a style that doesn't look tacky like all of these wide width ones. Can we get a women's platform in a wide width?! Been wanting this for years. But officially can't wear vans anymore until y'all make this.

I had to return these shoes because I couldn't get my foot through the opening. They are not a true wide width fit.

Cost cutters. They are narrower and tighter on the top of the foot. I bought the same exact size and style couple years ago and they fit perfectly. Vans that's lame man

The stitching quality was very poor and rubbed my feet raw after 2 hours.

Gardening. These shoes have no support. I bought new sole inserts and the inserts in these Van's are not removable. Never had a shoe where you could not replace the insert

Where are the stickers you used to attach to the shoes??? So bummed to not see any. Every time I bought pairs, it came with a sticker until now. Even the pairs at Ross come with a sticker!!

I have rewards to use and can't use them because the staff in charge of putting out new shoe fabrics etc...is on perpetual coffee break. I am constantly looking for new shoes like VR7 slip on's that were hip and sooo comfy. Is VAN'S going out of business??? Why cut back on the great slip on's? They aren't even on the drop down menu anymore!!

I wanted a pair Slip-On Perf Leather in white, realized I required them in my actual size (8.5 Wide), tried these, and was hugely disappointed that, again, I was unable to even slip my foot inside. There is no way these are wide!

The sizing here is nonsense. No 4E available and only one color available in wide??

Did not list leather construction in the description. Now I am paying for returns. Please give a full listing description.

I am so disappointed. After buying a pair of SK8-Hi Wide size 11which fit great and are nice and wide, of course I had to have the Classic Slip-O Checkerboard...So dumb me, I bought the same size as the Sk8-Hi Wides. I can barely get my foot in these WITH NO SOCKS and they are definitely not as wide as the Sk8-Hi Wide. Of Course I cant wear these. Im not sure an additional half size would even do it. Certainly not wide enough. Vans should be ashamed. I feel robbed. Have a nice day!

You order a new pair of white slip-ons, wait for them to be delivered, open the box, and the first thing you see in are marks on the white soles

Website not user friendly. Very difficult to navigate. Click Slip Ons and you get laced options too... more colors options means 5 basic colors,

I will be returning this shoes as it is not wide !!
