After owning wide Old Skool lace-ups I decided to give these a try. Some reviews indicated these pull-ons ran a little tight. I knew what to expect. Out of the box they were stiff and slightly tight. I applied my break-in method: I removed the glued down insoles. Then I bent, twisted and rolled the soles to soften them up. Next, I added custom insoles. Comfortable! These shoes will be used in the house and at the gym. POSITIVES: Slightly wider. They look great. Reasonably priced. Never have to replace shoelaces. Love the feel after I tune them up. Good gym shoes; they stick to the floor. Classic design. NEGATIVES: They are only 5mm wider, that's less than 1/4 inch. At least make them 7mm wider, please. Insoles glued down like commercial carpet. Make them with removable insoles. Make more Vans in wide,,, please....

This is magic. I finally found a pair of Vans that fit my wide (nay, square) bunion-adorned feet. It took some trial and error with the size: I started with an 8, then a 7.5 and finally found perfection with a 7. For reference, I have to buy regular shoes in an 8 or sometimes 8.5 to accommodate width. Couldn't believe that I'm a 7 in these, but they fit like a glove. I FEEL SO COOL GUYS.

I love these! I don't know why I hesitated and didn't buy them sooner. I'm glad I purchased the "wide" option. They are much roomier and so comfy!

I wasn't sure at first if the recommended sizing is correct but they fit perfectly. I got the wide ones. Very comfortable and cute !

I've probably had 25-30 pairs of these in my life but I'm 42 years old now and my feet won't stop growing. This is the first time I've seen them in size 14! I recently had to call it quits on 13s so please don't ever stop making the larger sizes! I seriously can't live without my Vans!

My wife is a big fan of white Vans and especially that she's pregnant, these wide ones are a bit more comfortable while she waddles around.

I am very pleased with the wide shoe. The standard Slip-On is ridiculously tight but these actually fit. I can wear Vans again.

These shoes are wide between the toes and heel, so not in the toe box. Overall for sure slightly wider than the normal ones. They feel more comfortable

Bought these after learning I have wide feet and was hoping they would fit better, and they definitely do compared to my regular size pairs of vans! However these are still not quite wide enough. My pinky toe does still hit the wall of the shoe. These are comfortable right out of the box though, but I don't think I would repurchase, since I do need a wider toe box. :( they're still cute tho

No one wants brand new white shoes that are already dirty. Both shoes came with black marks(shown in picture) It was disappointing and reminded me to not order online.

This is about my 20th pair, and they last forever, but sometimes you just need a freshen up! Still fit just as well as they did when I was 15.

I love them so much! I got upset when I couldn't wear most of my vans anymore and saw they come in wide! They fit perfect and dont squeeze my feet anymore!

I love this shoe. its been a classic in my shoe wardrobe since high school. Cant go wrong with a classic slip on vans.

These are the best shoes for when your toes need a little extra room. I can't keep them off my feet! If only Vans would offer more styles in wide widths!

I made a mistake in my last review and I can't find it to delete it so let me correct it here. I was wrong. Someone told me to pop them in the microwave for 30 seconds and then put them on and walk around and they were totally right. These bad boys fit like a dream now and I can't wait to wear them until they fall apart.

Very comfortable. I like the wide option. Sorry the shoes didn't make it in the photo but they matched perfectly along with the Vans socks.

These shoes are so comfy, she's worn these for years, they last well, but it was high time for a new pair and with the holidays coming, what better time!!
