My son had a pair of these in a size 13 regular, but he complained that they hurt his feet, so he never wore them. He really liked them though so I decided to try again. He has wide feet so I was thinking 14 wide, but they didn't have wide, so I ordered a regular 14 and they were too long and too narrow. So I decided to go back down and try a 13 wide and they were too tight. They didn't look wide at all and when we measured them against his 13 regular pair, they were almost identical. The heel of the 13 wide was about 1mm wider than the regular, but the rest of the shoe was the same, so I'm not sure how they classify these as a wide width.

I'm a senior citizen and beginner weight lifter. I need balance deadlifting. I read about Vans on power lifting websites. I bought some for the gym. First I removed the glued down insoles, not too hard to do. Put in my prescription, custom orthotics. These Vans have flat bottoms and they stick to the floor. Perfectly level and stable. So glad Vans makes a wide shoe. I tested these out during deadlifts and I am very satisfied with them. For my purposes these shoes are outstanding. They have 9 eyelets and wide cotton laces so I can tighten them exactly the way I want. This is my first pair of Vans. POSITIVES: Excellent weight lifting shoes especially dead lifts and leg presses. They grip the floor. They look good. 9 pair of eyelets. Reasonably priced.

Love them! Sized up and they turned out to be a perfect fit for my wide feets.

I have wide feet and that usually means wearing shoes that look like you get them with a prescription or that you borrow from your grandpa. These aren't those. Better yet, the Wide is actually wide (not so for every shoe brand). The shoes are not super-padded which means that they're trimmer than the aforementioned grandpa shoes but also means I wouldn't wear them if I had to be on my feet for any amount of time. The only con for me is that the insoles aren't (easily) removable. I need better arch support. I had to tear out the existing insoles and order a second pair (half size bigger) to get something that I could put insoles into. If think all wide shoes should have removable insoles. Wide feet usually means weird feet.

I was nervous about how wide the vans were going to be..They did a great job the vans fit great had toe room ordered my regular size 9 womens. Love the fit. Will definitely be buying more wide vans please bring the color burgandy in wide please.

I've been wearing Vans for more than thirty years, in either this style or slip-ons but only the slip-ons came in a wide. Finally came out with the Old Skool Wides - now if I can only customize these....

Finally there is an option for wide feet. Always wanted Vans growing up, always hurt my feet. The fit my feet like a glove and extremely comfortable. Already planning on buying another pair.

I am excited to have new options for my uniquely shaped feet. These old-stool kicks are comfortable and light. They would be my new go-to, except that I do't have the funds to spend on shoes that won't last. I am surprised that after only 1.5 months of wear, that the glue is coming apart for apparently no reason. Now they are strictly INDOOR shoes.

Unfortunately no. Hoping the wides would be better in the toe box, but it seems like they just added width to the midfoot & heel area. Disappointing

Their wide is more like a C width. I am a D width so not wide enough. Otherwise, good looking shoe.

I order a wide shoe size and what I got was a very narrow shoe. Which I couldn't even put my foot. The designer of the shoes need to make the shoes wider.

This is one of my favorite shoes, ordering the wide was not only a perfect fit and comfortable. It allows me to utilize the shoes while working. They are also stylish enough to go out on casual events the white accents clean easily. I only wish they provide the wide sizes in more color options. I would literally buy every color option.

love the wide fit! v comfy and cute i have narrow feet, but i lovee wearing these. it has space to spread my toes and still feels secure.

I really like these Vans. They're comfortable right out of the box, easy to style with almost anything, and hold up well for everyday wear. Definitely a solid purchase.
