Pro SL is great shoe. The gray pair I just received shipped with laces too short. Now, where can you find proper sized gray laces?

Previous Pro SL more comfortable and better looking

Not as comfortable as previous Pro SL. Styling also not as attractive

After three rounds I had to return these shoes ---first time in all the FJ shoes I've purchased. The outer part of my foot became inflamed --same spot each time. Might just be my foot/shoe combo, but can't concentrate on my game when I'm worried about my shoe.

Very comfortable better on my knees only thing I thought they were going to be black but they are navy so I will be looking for a black pair Overall great product

Fit was really narrow in the toe box. Not the comfort I was hoping for. Venting was also a challenge. I played two rounds and got 3-4 huge blisters on each foot. Been playing foot joy shoes for the last 20 years and hoping to swap out for a different model.

Diappointing quality for the price

I own 5 pairs of FootJoy golf shoes. It's the only brand I buy, and I buy because of the fit. Which is why I was disappointed with these shoes. I have a very wide foot, so I ordered extra wide width. Unfortunately, these shoes were too narrow to wear comfortably. I returned them. But I will try again. Hopefully, the next pair will fit as I expect FootJoy shoes to fit.

Have always had FJ shoes but the SL Pro has caused me real problems with severe arch pain. Definitely the shoes as when I return to my old Ecco shoes, the problem subsides. FJ did supply a set of DNA insoles but no real difference. Expensive mistake unfortunately.

I have played 36 holes with the new shoes. I have gone back to my old shoes as I am 81 and have some mild arthritis in My fingers. I am unable to tighten the shoes as much as I would like. I doubt if I will again wear those shoes.

Comparing this new model with my 2 year old ProSL's I would say Footjoy should have listened to the players featured on their commercial and "not change a thing". The things I loved about the older design was its lateral stability and traction. The new design is a big step back on stability and the traction does not appear to be as good as my older SL's. The good news is the new SL's can be worn right out of the box and do not require the break-in that the older shoes required. My playing companions still call them "nurse shoes" but beauty is in the eye.... Footjoy please put better shoe laces e.g. paracord in your shoes (like many competing brands do) as the flimsy laces you provide wear out real quick, but I guess that is good for replacement lace sales.

This new model SL is very structured as in stiff as a board. Buy last years model idf you can. More supple and raedy to go out of the box.

I wanted to wait a few rounds, before I answered the request for a review. Reason being, at first I felt the shoes seemed quite cheap. Being a twenty year FootJoy guy, they were different than I was used too. Today I played my first round in the rain. My feet were absolutely soaked at the end of the round. I don't recommend this shoe. Lacking support and a zero in waterproofing. Very disappointing purchase.

Looks good but wears terrible after a few holes. will put blisters on toes if not careful.

The BOA's do not stayed locked, these were sent back to Footjoy for this reason and the tongues being sewed in crooked. When they came back FJ assured they were fixed....they weren't, they also ignored the tongue's being sewed in crooked. I am a life long FJ shoe wearer from the Classics on, I'm thinking I made a mistake. I actually bought two pair, identical at the same time....now I'm stuck with them. Guess that's what trash cans are for!

These shoes are not my favourite. During the round my feet are sore on the ankle bone. I have tried to soften the leather with no success. I will wear them on the range where I don't have far to walk in them. I like the style just not the fit.

The left shoe squeaks every time I take a step and even though they felt comfortable when I put them on they wore a sore on the top of one of my toes

Bought these in April and wore most weeks from then with all being ok, last week played five games in five days abroad and the left shoe caused a sore just above my left ankle due to the shoe wearing out and going very hard in that area. Got in touch with FootJoy via email but had no response yet 48 hours later not impressed

Just disappointed. I only wear to play. I walk, we dont even have cart paths. The spikes are very worn. not even 1 year. Never again.

They leaked after 7 wearings at dawn in dew, not rain

Poor fit. But, my fault for trying FJ again. I love the look. Foot joy just needs to learn how to make a d3cent fit.

I've had foot joys for the last 40 years always have sworn by them very comfortable and keep your feet dry apart from this pair only 10 months old and the BOA system snapped while tightening up. both shoes have cracked where they join the souls and letting Water in in wet conditions good job I've kept the receipt and will be returning them to the pro shop hopefully no problems exchanging fingers crossed

I got a hole in the upper after 4 months and then they leaked through the hole. They are very hot to wear because they are basically plastic. The mud stains are not possible to remove so they look bad very quickly.
