Very comfy! I haven't had a chance to try them out in the cold, but they feel very warm. I wear an 8 in most sneakers and the 8 fits perfect. Can't wait to wear them in the snow.

Absolutely love these. They are so comfortable for walking in the snow and keep my feet perfectly warm. I live in Utah and walk my dog ~5 miles a day, and these are just perfect for the job.

Very comfortable and hold up really well in the snow. I wear them snowshoeing and my feet stay totally dry. The back of the ankle is a little stiff and dig into my calves if I wear them in the car with my legs stretched out, so only complaint is that this area could use more padding.

Wore these hiking in snowy conditions in the Rocky Mountains. Did a few couple like hikes. My feet stayed warm and dry w wool socks. However, I did have to size up two full sizes in order for them to fit w my wool socks. More comfortable around the ankle once worn for a few hikes.

Great hiking shoe. Very lightweight and kept my feet warm. I have a problem with being easily cold in my extremities and this really did keep me warm !! There is a curve where the bottom of your foot is, like a shoe insert which takes getting used to. Not as non-slip as I thought it would be though and the back of the foot where your Achilles tendon is, has a curve, so it requires a great deal of breaking into before longer use in a single day. This really cannot be emphasized enough.

I wish they fit since they are amazing quality and quite comfortable. Unfortunately, I have wide feet already and these run quite narrow for a 7.5 in women's. Keene is a much wider sole than Northface, for reference.

I just got these boots and they feel amazing. One thing that I was presently surprised with was there is a kick-off notch on the back them to take them off easier.. they look a tiny bit bulky but they are comfortable and they are warm. They have the vectiv feel of the rocking forward motion that really makes me feel like I need to keep going forward.

I use these boots hiking New England mountains in the winter. Great traction on packed, powder snow, and icy terrain. Lightweight for sure. Works perfect with microspikes and snowshoes. I sized up a whole size as boots seem a bit narrow, and wiggle room for toes are important to me. As far as insulation goes, while wearing 1 pair wool socks, toes started off a bit cold but did warm up soon into hike. Feet also stayed dry during a 3 1/2 hour trek through snow and some ice. Some hot spots did develop on bottoms of my feet, but I am uncertain if this was due to boots or micro spikes. Will have to go on more adventures to determine, and maybe swap out innersoles with curexSoles. Overall, great hiking boots so far.

I walk/hike a TON so was looking for a good boot for this winter. This summer I had great luck with the Vectiv Hypnum so hoped these would be a win. PRO - nice and warm while moving but still lightweight for a boot. CON - I bought my usual TNF size (8.5) and have never in my life had tow box issues but these are massively uncomfortable. I have blisters on my baby toe for the first time in my life. I'm so disappointed. After a long walk my knee was killing me and my feet were sore. Initially out of the box they were comfortable at home so I threw out the box and headed outside. Big mistake. I've contacted customer service and am hoping for a resolution. Not sure I can update a review but I will if I can once they contact me.

I ordered these, as i am usually a 8.5, they were way too tight, especially in the toes. It caused a lot of toe pain and blisters. I thought I would keep them for a bit to see if I could break them in, and almost 4 months later still left with this pain. They're return policy is upsetting as items need to be returned in perfect condition to be considered to get any help, but how would one know if the sizing is correct as online they don't give a measurement chart, they just have general sizes. Customer service was not very helpful in resolving my issues and I wont be purchasing anything from North Face again. Very disappointed in the product and how customer service handled my concerns. Please be careful when buying from them.

I didn't like them at all. the footbed / sole is angled from outside to inside. maybe this is what is called "active" because it bounces your stride inward and upward during a step? It put immediate pressure on my knees and caused intense pain. no thanks, solid return.
