When Eccos fit, they are great! I have owned several in the past. Boot quality is wonderful and really wanted this nice looking, soft-shanked pair to work but the shank was too generous in width and toe-box was too narrow. Heels were a bit too wide. Very little to any arch support sadly so I my feet felt pronated.

I own several pairs of Ecco shoes, and they are always very comfortable. That was not the case with this boot. The heel counter dug into the sides of my ankles, and felt like it was made of stiff cardboard under the leather. I had high hopes for these boots, but they were quickly returned.

The ECCO Soft 7 GORE-TEX Chelsea boots fit perfectly. Sizing is pretty true, with just a little more room for thick socks. Arch support is moderate, I can feel the support, but will probably add my own. These boots will be put to the test with trips to Alaska, Norway, and Iceland soon.

I liked the sole but these were way too short for me

The fit was ok, tends to be a little big. They are very warm BUT it was as if there wasn't an inner sole. I have several Ecco shoes & they usually are very comfortable with an arch support. These were totally the opposite. The ball of my foot started hurting after an hour in them. I would return them but I wore them for the first time today. I am actually thankful that they are just a tad big as I stopped to get an insole with an arch support with full cushion to go inside of them. Very disappointed in the comfort of the insole only of this shoe.

These are really a good-looking waterproof boot. My husband and I are headed to Scotland next month and I wanted a comfortable, waterproof, not too clunky-looking boot. These fit the bill.

Everything was great except I wasn’t crazy about style once received.

I purchased these little boots in my soft7 sneaker size and felt they fit true to size. They are a pull on boot so the fit through the foot is different - a bit looser. Lightweight and 100% waterproof. While I don’t think I would want to wear them hiking I put several miles per day on them walking through a rainy city with big puddles and slick sidewalks without problem. My feet stayed dry and did not overheat in the boots. The insoles can be changed out if needed but I felt the arch support and padding was very comparable to my soft7 sneakers.

These are beautiful boots. Classy, well-made. Unfortunately, though I usually take a 9 or 9.5, the 9-9.5 was too small. Mostly in the toe box, my toes were slammed against the left side on my left foot. Next size would be 10-10.5. Those would be way to big. Bummer

They look more like chukkas/water shoes in person, and I wanted more of a Chelsea boot that happened to be waterproof. Fit was fine.
